Top notch all the way. The setting is elegant without being overly pretentious and the service was on point without being bothersome. The menu is upscale and varied so something for everyone. The presentation of all dishes were quite beautiful. The final touches to the meals are done table side which was also very nice. The french onion soup was... More

Location: 10 minutes walk from Soumaya Museum; Setting: traditional Mexican full-service restaurant; service: friendly and professional, plus the manager speaks English. Not complete but all entrees with some English translation in the menu. This historic building was the home of a wealthy family, and has been converted into a restaurant and event facility. It is absolutely beautiful and the food is outstanding. Take time to walk around the grounds and enjoy the architecture and artifacts.

I was at Hacienda Los morales 30 years ago. I came back this time and I was still happy to see how beautiful this place is. The food is still good though I will not call it spectacular. I ordered Chicharron de calamari and they were just average. The crepes were really wonderful. The service still very good. It is... More

Haciendas are old homes that are now hotels or restaurants, but Hacienda de los Morales is special because it is set in the middle of Mexico city's business district with enormous, modern tower blocks surrounding it. Walking into the courtyard, it already felt very authentic with large trees along with the entire ceiling daubed with red, white and green decorations,... More

We arrived to a private room, where a number of functions were in full swing. The noise was incredible. This was about 7:15 on a Saturday night. A christening, a wedding , and other functions all with bands or DJs. Service was slow and the waiters got the orders mixed up. What food came was good . If thinking of... More

This was my second time at La Hacienda de los Morales. Sane wonderful service and atmosphere. Food is excellent. Great variety: from classical Mexican, to gourmet varieties. We brought our own wine. Our initial reservation was made for 6 people and later on requested a table for 9. It was granted to us on a busy Saturday evening. Very accommodating!... More

During colonial times la Hacienda de los Morales was located on the outskirts of Mexico City, but today it is within its confines, only a short distance from the exclusive hotels, museums and shops of Polanco. This stately mansion, a recipient of numerous awards including the 5 Diamond and the Dirona Awards, and the Executive Chef Alejandro Heredia Resendiz named Mexican Chef of the 20th Century by the Cullinary Academy of France, transports visitors to another era in a refined atmosphere where the hospitality and service make every moment a memorable one. In addition to the international menu with Mexican specialties, there are several Gastronomic Festivals each year with the participation of such outstanding establishments as I Chiostri di Firenze, Las Ventanas al Paraiso, The Lobster Festival Puerto Nuevo Style, and Il Milanese Curioso. This formal restaurant is open except Easter week and official Holidays. Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie after 6:00 pm.
