An excellent place to live the “cantina” atmosphere, we did not eat but drink tequila and has a good time enjoying Mariachis. I think it is a must to go place if you visit Mexico

This place was highly recommended by a friend and a Nat Geo blog. Glad we visited. Enjoyed the wandering mariachi groups. Drinks we great, not weak, not to strong. I recommend all tourists near to Mexico City visit Salon Tenampa.

Make reservations, since it is a very busy place. Pay the mariachis a couple of songs and drink the best Tequila in Mexico. food is also great!

Number 1 Classic mexican mariachi place for locals with grate ambiance, food, tequilas and much more.
Juan I. Hernandez merchant from Cocula, opens Salon "Tenampa" in 1925, with "Mariachi Cocula” and "Mariachi Reyes".
This is how Musical Garibaldi Square starts. During 1940 the tenampas gold age fortified the palce. From then on many movies has been rolled in this venue with the best local actors, writers, scripters, poets. in 1976 it had the major refresh.
