Terrible atmosphere, but decent service. The meat was good, as was the chapters salad. Spicy dips and fresh breads. One of the only local places open on a Sunday night. Also expensive for what I had...

We came across Fonda la Parilla Argentina while wandering around hungry. Had looked at other places and checked their menus, and this one finally appealed. Charming doorway on the outside, but the windows were marred by cheesy signage advertising the Valentines Day special. (Guess you can’t fault then for trying to drum-up business for that night.) It would be a... More

The place is not so nice, it´s like 20/30 years when the fists Argetinians came to Mexico. But, the meat and other dishes are excelent, such as Provoletta and Caprese salad

Televisions everywhere, which is never a good sign in my book of a good restaurant. Forced to eat here as everywhere else was closed, so as a non-meat eater a Argentinian meat restaurant wasn't exactly my first choice of restaurant. I chose 'Sopa Azteca' having established it was meat free and the waiter telling me how good it was, well... More

Argentinian food is basically some of the Italian classics mixed with really good steaks. We happened into this restaurant because it was close to our hotel. Others have commented on the décor, which sort of reminds me of a 1980 Pizza Hut. Sure it's dated, but the food is good, so who cares. Our party had everything from pasta to... More

As it was a rainy evening in Mexico City, a co-worker and I decided to try this place just around the corner from our hotel. We were greeted kindly at the front door and shown to our seats. The interior was spacious and rustic looking, and very quiet, as it was a Sunday evening. We both order churrasco steaks, French... More

The interior is very dated. I ordered the beef ribs as I am a great fan of them. Beef ribs need to be slow cooked to make them tasty and easy to eat. These were barely cooked and extremely tough, making them very difficult to eat. Some of the choices other diners had looked much better

We popped into this place for lunch after having just arrived in Mexico City and looking for a late lunch on New Year's Eve when many other places were closed. The manager greeted us warmly, gave us English menus and helped us negotiate the various steaks available on the menu. We both went for the rib eye with French fries.... More
