There might be some confusion here. There are two branches of this Spanish restaurant. One is in Roma and the other is right behind the cathedral on the second floor of the Spanish cultural centre. The latter affords a pleasant, elegant place to drop in if sightseeing in the centro histórico (it's also open in the evenings). There is a... More

Excellent and authentic tapas joint. Great tapas with high quality jamón serrano and jamón ibérico as the name suggests. The wine selection is wide but a bit pricey.

It was a lovely surprise to discover this rooftop Spanish restaurant behind the cathedral. My grilled fish was perfectly cooked, the olives from the antipasto trolley were amongst the best I've eaten in a while, and the garlic mayonnaise with basil and a hint of spiciness was addictive. No idea why it is so far down the list of restaurants... More

Went here for a change from the vegetable free diet you get in Mexico. Great at atmosphere and nice food but man to man marking from the waiting staff was a little overpowering. No vegetables though!

Yes, we were in Mexico City, and it seemed a shame to be eating in a European restaurant, but after a day of really spicy foods, a little jamon serano was calling our name. It was a lovely spot to sit on the street and watch the beautiful people go by. We shared their charcuterie and cheese plates. Everything was... More

Walking along Calle Alvaro Obregon in Mexico City's trendy Roma neighborhood, we passed plenty of eateries that featured state-of-the art design but we were struck by the dozen or so ham legs displayed in a wooden case just inside Jamon y Jamon. Five of us ate a Sunday lunch that we will always remember for the quality of the food... More

Go figure. I am from Spain and when traveling outside of Spain, I look for authentic Spanish restaurants to see how they represent the Spanish gastronomy. Jamon J. Jamon had the best Spanish tapas I have ever tried outside of Spain. Very fresh, cooked as there are cooked in Spain, and with authentic ingredients. I could add that this restaurant... More
