I have known Embers since the 1970's when it was on Mariano Escobedo... It was one of my favorite restaurants for a good hamburger then. Then they moved to Polanco, and then they moved again, to a large house on Ejercito (also in Polanco) It is run by the original owner's sons and they have not changed the menu or... More

An amazing Burger with regional toppings and different dishes. This is a traditional and amazing Steakhouse to know if you are in the neighborhood.

After reading the reviews I thought the hamburgers would be great but they were pretty "normal" to me. The restaurant is nice and cozy in a good location near Polanco.

I have heard there are other good hamburgers in Mexico City, but to date this place is the best I have tried. This restaurant was a small hamburger joint when I attended college in Mexico City in the 1960's. I was so excited to see it in a new location when we visited this year.
