Well we finially made it , after 3 months of waiting to get a table . Located in a quite side street in a good neighborhood of the city, We entered a dark and elegant dining room . At first it seemed so strange to dine in such a modern restaurant with such a name of quality and excellence .... More

One of the best restaurants I have ever visited. The table was available at the time of reservation. An exquisite sampling of Mexican food (it was a trip through Mexico flavors). The attention of the employees was excellent.

I decided to make a reservation here after seeing the chef on Chef's Table on Netflix. The restaurant lived up to the hype in every way. The service was great, the ambience was understated but elegant and the food was phenomenal. The highlights were the lamb tacos, mole and the baby corn appetizer (much better than I just described it).... More

Worth the hype. The whole experience was amazing. They printed English menus for us and we were talked through every course. The whole service took about two and a half hours in total. Highlights for me were the baby corn with ant mayo, mole madre which was aged over 1,000 days and the churro wheel. The meal with drinks cost... More

Like some other reviewers, do not understand why people are so impressed with this restaurant. The service was fine except that the server forgot to explain the dessert (which was not self-explanatory) and the setting was somewhat cold. The food was nothing special, and the three members of our party who ate the rabbit became very ill starting shortly after... More

This is a very expensive restaurant - c£100 per head - and yes the food is very good. However, compared to this price point in the UK, the US or Europe, it doesn't really deliver. We had the 5 course meal, of which the first three courses, based on Mexico city street food, were very nice and well presented. The... More

What a wonderful dining experience! We are in DF for my husbands 65th birthday going to the three top rated restaurants. Pujol is the star. From the minute you walk in you know you are going to have a great experience. The servers were wonderful and attentive but didn't hover. The menu is great! The first course is Mexican Street... The food was every bit as good as hoped. Imaginative, delicious, beautifully presented. Personally I didn't care for the 5th course mole but my wife loved it. But the pace at which food is delivered is painful. After 1 hour and 10 minutes we'd had just our 1st course (a medley of small dishes, with no ordering required) and our... More

I have eaten at Pujol many times, and every time it manages to surprise me. While it no longer is the only restaurant to offer this level of food in Mexico City (or, indeed, in the Polanco neighbourhood), it has managed to keep a consistent level of excellence in all its offerings. Food is always inventive, daring, and very very... More

Once again featured on the San Pellegrino list of the "World's 50 Finest Restaurants"—and moving up thirteen spots to number 36—Pujol is Chef Enrique Olvera's extraordinary personal approach to Mexican cuisine, famed for reinvention and ongoing perfectionism, where tradition and contemporary gastronomy live side by side as expressed in culinary techniques both ancient and modern. Using both imagination and delicacy, Olvera recombines Mexico's nearly infinite ingredients and flavors, demonstrating an extraordinary food culture's potential in obsessive detail.
