I had such an excellent meal at Puerto Madero in Cancun I was looking forward to taking a friend to the Mexico City location. It was a completely different and disappointing experience. The dining room was very cold and noisy, the service was ridiculously slow and surly. Some of the food was so undercooked it was not edible. When spending... More

Very good food and service that pays attention and doesn't overdo it. Great steaks and seafood. We were ten people and all had a good time plus good food so no complaints. With wine and a few rib eye steak total cost came out to about USD$50 per person.

Prior to coming to puerto Madero Polanco we had a few drinks at a quaint little restaurant Raiz. We already had reservations at Puerto Madero Polanco so we left... and now wish we had just stayed at Raiz! We arrived at Puerto Madero to find a sports bar like atmosphere. We ordered margaritas only to be disappointed as the quality... More

Excellent restaurant in Mexico DF. Especially for sea food and meat, also very good salads, and vegetables. The octopus carpaccio super !. The meat very nice, and the fish excellent. We had a red snapper, very well cooked, simple but super. We shared a piece of the sirloin steak very nice. I loved the papas soufle, ( soufle potatos). If... More

This is restaurant we love so much and every time we go to Mexico DF we book a table for dinner. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the menu offers a wide range of good food. The service is the only thing that should be improved...so many servants and little efficiency.

Enjoyable evening at Puerto Madero. Wonderful oysters, beautiful steak main and fine wines to round it off. The restaurant is very well appointed and the service is as you'd expect from a higher end establishment. I recommend visiting if you're looking for a high end steakhouse which does what it says on the tin, but not much more.

pretty family and friends oriented, very good choice of sea food (we love the 'navajas'!) as well as the meat, however the last time we went a large group of us and were placed in a 'private room' just next to the entrance but they kept forgetting us!, so the service was a bit chaotic mainly due to the room... We've spent a lot of time in Buenos Aires and we know how an Argentine parilla works and this place comes close to being totally authentic. They get a few things wrong (what they call Bife Chorizo is really Ojo de Bife and vice versa) and the meat is not from Argentina and didn't taste grass fed. It's crowded and... More

The service, the atmosphere, the food, except the beef, were all excellent. I expect to pay premium for an excellent meal. But I fear that this restaurant suffers from its proximity to the USA. I also feel that my disappointment is my own fault because I didn't investigate this enough as to what was being offered. When I asked the... More
