We continue to return to San Angel Inn and it has always been excellent in service and food. Fantastic surroundings and a beautiful spot. Will continue on our list as one of the very best anywhere.

The setting of this restaurant is like being inside a hacienda, having a meal. Cozy but extremely elegant. The food experience was great. Worth to try but it is expensive.

Before we went to Mexico city, we looked up the best restaurants there. San Angel Inn was among them. We were on an arts tour of 33 people, so need to judge our lunch as San Angel Inn by different standards than if we'd been...More

Beautiful courtyard dining, live traditional music, absolutely first-rate margaritas, good service, and good traditional Mexican food. Definitely worth a visit! Dining there is an experience--the courtyard area is just so charming with its gardens and statuary. So glad we came!

Four of us had Saturday lunch after wandering through the hot and crowded Bazaar Sabado. I had not been to either for many years. The bazaar has lost its bloom; the restaurant has not. I provided the same pleasant and well paced service in its...More

We made a 1 pm reservation on a Saturday for lunch. When I made my reservation, I requested to sit outside so I could admire the garden. The restaurant honored my request and sat us in the shade outside. I would definitely recommend making reservations...More

San Angel
San Ángel is known for its artistic vibe and elegant
details displayed throughout its streets, antique
residences and haciendas where famous actors like
Consuelo Velázquez, Capulina and other prominent
families used to live and that have now been turned
into beautiful galleries, cafés and restaurants. An
array of cultural and artistic activities are
organized in the neighborhood, but it is on Saturdays
