Los Danzantes is a stylish restaurant with a menu to match. Unfortunately we had no reservation. We were invited to have a drink in the lounge area but eschewed the bar menu. The Mezcal cocktails are beyond compare. They include Mr. James an orange concoction which is very good. The star however is the Jamaitini, Mezcal with a Jamaica (hibiscus)... More

Could only get a seat in the lounge without a reservation - but the food was fantastic. One of the two best restaurants in Oaxaca in my opinion. Very hip atmosphere - beautiful designed restaurant with an outdoor vibe

Well thought through decor to create a special ambience. Service is exceptional and the overall dining experience is personal. The food has creative flavours and presentation and is well adapted to dietary requirements. The meal was delicious and the portion size was good. The drinks were of high quality. Well worth a visit for a special, intimate dinner experience. Make... More

Los Danzantes is a very beautifully decorated restaurant with excellent Mexican cuisine and superb service. Antonio our server provided flawless service. We ordered the rib eye chicharrón, the escamole memelas and a shrimp tlayuda. Simply delicious. When we reached deserts, half of them were finished!! Nevertheless I would gladly return tomorrow for dinner. I highly recommend it!!

We ate here twice, once for dinner and once for their comida (Wednesday and Friday, from about 2 to 5 or so). The comida was a wonderful bargain, three generous and delicious courses for very little. Dinner is rather more expensive and (though maybe we made the wrong choices) we didn't like it as well, though the doubladitas (tacos around... More

It's set in a walled courtyard with a canvas part roof, so isn't really weatherproof. Unfortunately it's also badly lit so it's a struggle to read the menu or see what you're eating. The evening we visited followed a thunderstorm so the air was very fresh, but unfortunately the heaters weren't lit so it got a bit chilly (and we... More

Book early and don't be late. 10 mins late and your booking is cancelled Certainly one of the better restaurant in town of which there are many. Located near the Santo Domingo cathedral is tucked away through a narrow corridor. Defibstely a must for dining.

Gorgeous ambience and lovely service. The food was innovative and enjoyable, and very reasonably priced for such a top-end establishment. We had a wonderful meal starting with mezcal cocktails which they brought with wonderful warm artesanal breads and muy picante (hot!!) dips. My partner chose candied pork (Costillar de cerdo de chile pasilla y papas en polvo de chiles) which,... More

The restaurant is very cool. It seems to be that they invested a lot in the construction and decor! Modern yet traditional. The ambiance is great. Food is one of the best in the city.

We couldn't get a reservation last year so upon arriving in town we made a dinner reservation. The restauraunt is vary airy with sof uplighting. I ordered the mushroom lasagne but the waitress came back and said they didn't have. Ordered the vegetarian pasta instead. My husband ordered the Chamorro. All I can say about the pasta was that it... More
