Not an overwhelming atmosphere but food and service was good. I had the sopa tropas and it was excellent. My friend had a tuna salad and said that it was good as well.

We had the pollo con mole negro. It was decent- the chicken was tender, but the sauce was a little salty. The prices were reasonable, though. The service was so-so. They screwed up some orders, got confused over splitting the check, etc. I admit we had a large group, but our tour director called ahead so they should have been... More

We had a pizza, another day I ordered hamburger and tonight a ham & cheese sandwich which came with fries. They are big on cocoa and chocolate in Oaxaca. I ordered a hot chocolate. Excellent, fast service and the food was very good. It's true there are plenty of incredible restaurants in the area but when you want to break... More

The Sagrario is about as close to a US diner as you can get. My wife and I tried it for breakfast. There was a sign "huevos al gusto" which means something like eggs any way you like them. Speaking Spanish I was able to get a torta (sort of like a sub) with a friend egg, melted cheese and... More

Oaxaca has many excellent places to eat, so there is no need to eat in ordinary places. This place was a bit ordinary. The breakfast took a long time to come and was uninspiring, there were plenty of wait staff available but they were more focussed on talking to each other than attending to us. The coffee was awful. Though... More

We didn't eat here, but had some nice coffee drinks and listened to the wonderful guitar duo singing Mexican classics. A great place to people watch!

Good for a quick lunch. We had a pizza and cokes. It is located close to the Zocalo and could be a place to have lunch and continue your walk.

We had a great view of the back of the Cathedral from a second floor table, but the food & service were a bit disappointing. The menu had very few tradional items, and offered more hamburgers & pastas. Too bad because the interior was nicely decorated & the location is great.

First night in Oaxaca, plane late hadn't eaten and nothing was open . Referred here by concierge at hotel. Good find for adequate food that met my needs, Filled with lots of locals eating pizza and other dishes. It was just fine!

Thank Judith A
