In a little courtyard near Plaza Santo Domingo. Good lunch options such as a garlicky humus, avocado stuff with tuna salad in addition to fruit salads and smoothies.

I stayed for almost two weeks at the Posada Margarita just behind Los Cuiles and so I probably had something there every day. It is the perfect place to begin the day, close out the evening or take a break anytime.

We stumbled upon this cafe as we were walking around Centro. We sat in the courtyard and while we waited for our food we browsed the nearby shops. The service was okay, neither quick nor as painfully slow as other reviewers have experienced. We were sat by the kitchen and the staff appeared to be having a wonderful time as... More

A local friend suggested we try Los Cuiles and we are glad we had time to sit and enjoy a sunny breakfast on the patio. We had eggs and a mango lassi, which was excellent. For a very small price two of us had a good breakfast and a chance to relax in a quiet area apart from the normal... More

Best chai lattes, I don't know how they make the foam so thick. A great place to get a drink and do homework, however not the best food.

I was very impressed, their prices are very very affordable I was not expecting the food to be as good as it was. Very small place but very cosy.

We've now eaten here a few times despite the awfully slow service and very unpleasant staff. As our favourite breakfast spot was too full on Sunday we went back (having vowed never to return). We had awful service, the waitresses NEVER smile or talk to you. My waffle arrived 20 minutes before my boyfriends. It arrived with a few slices... More

I went to this café because it was recommended in Lonely Planet. It is in a convenient, quiet location and is nicely decorated inside. But: the Service was slow and extremely unfriendly so that I felt anything but welcome. The breakfast itself was mediocre. I asked for extra hot water and was charged 10 pesos for it - the first... Whenever we visit Oaxaca, Cafe Los Cuiles is one of our favourite places to enjoy a meal or a refreshing drink. Sitting at one of the tables in the quiet courtyard is a perfect spot to wait for the delicious and beautifully presented food.
