Sadly not as good as I expected. The setting and restaurant are lovely, service was excellent, menu has varied choices, but none of what we had was memorable. Not sure if we chose all the wrong things, but for the price paid, the food should have been better. We would try again, when choices are exhausted.

After 2 days of not-so-good breakfasts we wondered about SP. NO WORRIES! Great selection, real Mexican food done wonderfully. We will be back!

We had two typical Oaxaquena breakfasts, huevos rancheros and chiliquiles con queso that were served elegantly and prepared in the traditional way. We ended our meal with a Chocolato Oaxaquena con leche. The service was polite, efficient and professional. I'd gladly go again!

We ate dinner at this immaculate and stylish spot adjacent to the interesting cultural centre Oaxaca. I wished we had discovered it earlier in our trip. We would have returned many times. The sopa de lima was delicate and delicious. Grilled meats fabulous. Strawberry sauce crepes as fine as could be. Meant to please the palate.

We had an early lunch here after visiting the Textile Museum. A wonderful oasis off the main streets with impeccable architecture. A brass band was setting up in the courtyard beyond/below our 2nd floor terrace seating. (The music was not too loud.) Great service. Our "lunch" menu was more breakfast items but terrific choices no matter.
