We ended up here twice we liked it so much. Fresh and unique as the food in the city is supposed to be. Basic ambiance - yes nicer lights would improve it but the food and service were great.
Everything we ate or drank in this restaurant was very very tasty. Very friendly waiter, delicious cocktails and wonderfully unique twists on traditional Mexican food in a lovely building in downtown Oaxaca. And on top of that, it's super affordable. Can't recommend it enough!
This is the place to try different Moles! and there is a mid day Chef special one day of the week which is the BEST way to enjoy the Chef's great skills! Everything is fabulous! And the service staff are so attentive.....Try to be there...More
The black mole (the plate I tasted) was very tasty, maybe one of the best I had in Mexico. This is a plate I would recommend there. Service is fine.
We just visited this restaurant & sadly the service was terrible & food mediocre. One dish arrived cold & the other mole without tortillas. And it is expensive to boot.

fabulous food and great service make this a big hit. The food iso good our group went two nights in a row. Recommend the fish and steak meals. but the big treat is dessert, the bunuelos.
