Everyone in our 10-person party LOVED their food and the service we received from Felix, our waiter. Don’t forget to check out the alligators — Willie and Pancho - that hang out below the outdoor eating area!

We so enjoyed our time here. We came for my boyfriends birthday- they made him a customized dessert and everything. Our waiter was Filiberto- he was wonderful. So kind and genuinely wanted to make our experience a good one. We would definitely recommend.

Just had a little birthday dinner here with my sister. Everything was great, from the hostess to our awesome waiter Saulo up to all the food and drinks. Saulo our waiter made us feel special. He was very accommodating and gave us the best suggestions...on the food. The food was awesome, the prime rib is just great. We had the mussels in wine sauce, the shrimp capellini and shrimp fettuccine. Overlooks the lagoon, you can witness a nice sunset. They said they were alligators(?) in the lagoon but didn’t get to see them. Overall, it was an excellent experience. Definitely recommend.More

The service was great from the start, our waiter German was extremely hospitable and friendly. He constantly asked us if we were ok and brought everything on time. If you have German as your waiter, don’t worry about anything you are set for the night!...German was also nice enough to alter a meal for my father to make it his likings with only a dollar up charge. Everything was served hot and it tasted amazing! The outside seating provides a nice view of the lagoon and you can see some crocodiles while you are at it. I would highly recommend Captain’s Cove to anybody and make sure to ask for German!More

If you're in Cancun, you have to stop at this place. Love the atmosphere overlooking the lagoon. Ask for German he's a fantastic waiter and was so attentive to our large party. We frequent this place every time we come to visit.

Yes it is directly across the street. I stayed at Royal Carribean next door to the islander. Also, I noticed the hotel shuttle had a drop off there.
