We spent Thanksgiving in Cancun and had dinner on Thanksgiving evening at La Madonna. This was, by far, the best meal we had in Cancun. The surf and turf was perfectly cooked and presented. My son, a picky eater, loved the lasagna. And the rest...of our party couldn't get enough of their food. The decor of the restaurant is something out of a movie; with large statues and beautiful furniture. My wife still talks about La Madonna and our Thanksgiving meal there. We can't wait to return. BTW, they were very accommodating to children, as well.More
Wanted to go to La Madonna this week during our vacation but it was gone! 😞😞 We have been going there for the great food and awesome Caesar salad for many years when we vacation in Cancun (over 15 times).
We hope that they open...somewhere else in Cancun — soon. We heard rumors of a new mall. Hope it lands there.More
Stopped in the middle of the afternoon to rest after wandering the shopping mall. We have been here before so we know they have an EXTENSIVE Martini Menu, they still do and it did not disappoint. I enjoy finding a Martini that fits my tastes...at the time, usually that means less sweet which is hard to find, but easy here. Staff was helpful. The decor was quite unusual and entertaining, and just a little bizarre. Definitely worth visiting and the mall location is convenient.More
Except for the espresso and chocolate martini, what a great food, service and for my visual appetite, an outstanding three (floor levels) picture of the Mona Lisa with colors that would make anyone think they are having hallucinations (in a positive way). I repeat this...place every time I can.More
Was there with 3 friends. 3 of us thought food was good but quite expensive for what they offered. We were there last year and enjoyed the food. Two of the people said their pasta was over cooked and another thought the tomato sauce of...the penne arrabiatta was very acidly. One person ordered the risotto and truly enjoyed it. Good pasta & tomato sauce basics for an Italian restaurant.
The service was very good but their reason for being is the food. Sorry folks. Hope they improve.More
Fairly expensive, ornately decorated Italian in the La Isla shopping center. Massive 4 story atrium with giant statues, even elegant. Great menu with excellent Italian food. Tends to host large groups so can get loud.
