Lovely Mexican place, Mexican music but waiters insist a lot on you ordering food, dessert to raise the price and at the time of the bill, it is mandatory to include 15% of the total without your consent when the tip is optional and the...reasonable thing is 10% in view of the fact that the place is not in A luxurious area and the prices are high for being in the center of Cancun, I don't like that at all.More

The people who come here don't know any better and that's why they give it good reviews. The first question they ask when you walk in is where you are from so they can take advantage of you. They will add there tips themselves and...overcharge food items if your not paying attention. And to make things worse people will shove sombreros on your head and force you to take a picture and won't leave you alone until you buy it. The food isn't even authentic its made for tourists. Avoid this place. If you want authentic Mexican food that locals eat put Rigos tacos on your gps but not the one in the hotel zone.More

I have written many reviews over the years and this is first negative. I spoke with manager and received no support. Mariachi band was gone on this Saturday night and a 3 piece guitar group came in. They said 6. US per song. Restaurant was...not busy so we requested songs and after 5 songs we paid 30. They wanted 20. US more and would not leave our table. I asked for manager and he agreed it was a good bargain to give them 50. US for 5 songs. The waiter Alejandro was excellent! First ever negative in 26 years I’ve been coming here and writing awesome reviews. Not today!🙁More

Maybe because we live in a different area of Mexico, we felt the restaurant was average at best...the staff was friendly and the ambiance was Mexican, but the food, although good, nothing special. The item we really liked was the simple garden salad, beautiful presentation...and fresh taste. The food was not really piping hot, but it was tasty...my wife's la charro frijoles much better than my frijoles. So, if you want a nice Mexican meal...enjoy your visit here ...the drinks, margaritas were actually well mixed and fuerte...More

Walked in was seated right away, the waiter immediately came to the table for the drink and any appetizer order. Once the drinks were ordered and I managed to get and a guacamole appetizer out of my mouth the waiter was GONE and only returned...to quickly deliver the guacamole and took off again, never returned the entire time. The guacamole was okay, I guess how can you really go wrong? I’m not Mexican and I make good guacamole. Then...came the food. Flat out disappointment. Nothing ordered was worth giving more than one star. We ordered two entrees the fajitas and tacos (Mariachi-which is 5 different tacos). While I could go into details about the beef, chorizo, chicken, pastor and pork chop meat on the tacos I will just say none of them had any flavor, each of the tacos including the fajitas all tasted the same which was like meat thrown on a gas grill with too much gas. Disgusting! Of course with the food being nasty and ready to get out of there the waiter NEVER returned. After waiting more than 25-30 minutes I had to flag down another waiter to track our check down. Cash paid and I couldn’t have gotten up any quicker.More

Nothing is more dishonest than a restaurant that gives one menu to a tourist and another a Mexican. Beware that they will give anyone that looks like a tourist, a second Menu, which is almost double the price. It's well practiced. I insisted on seeing...the local menu and found they were fleecing us. Shameful and unnecessary. AVOID this appalling tourist traps.More

We were honestly disappointed with a lot of the Mexican food we found in Cancun so we searched for this place and we were SO happy. The band is a little loud but we didn’t care the tacos were so freaking good. The staff carry...margaritas on their heads and it was a fun atmosphere. We got three kinds of tacos and each one was awesome. We also got the Tres Leches cake and some ice cream celebrating my bfs birthday and it was amazing! We were really happy to have found this spot.More

The food here was really good, the margaritas were good as well to but a little overpriced compaired to other places as is the food. Yo Lydia appointment was that I went a little early 6 ish so I was done before the mariachi band...and crowd got there. Otherwise food was good and service is excellant, and the restaurant definitely has a Mexican feeling.More

Such a great variety and worth the price! I ordered the huarache and aztec steak. Great flavors! The margaritas are to die for! 10/10 best restaurant in Cancun!
