I’m staying at the Marriott and I’ve tried pretty much all the restaurants (Hana, Gustino, Sasi, etc). By far, this is my favorite. So much that I went here so many times: - 1st time with waiter Carlos who left early and was taken over...by Angel. I left my water bottle that night. It’s the one that keep the water hot or cold for hours. So of course I need it back when it’s so hot outside. Unfortunately, it took some time to get it back as the waiter left it with the Ikazaki booth. The 2 share the same entrance. - 2nd and 3rd time, I had a pleasure of meeting Daniel. He’s so calm and got me the tamarindo drink I wanted from Sasi (the Thai restaurant next door). The 2nd time with him (the 3rd time overall) Daniel noticed I like sour and spicy things so he recommended the spicy chili oil. It was such a great recommendation. I love it!!! He also gave me the menu for the sushi as I’ve been ordering the ramen from Kasai. That was also a hit with the banana maki - 4th time, I met Carlos again. I showed him the pictures of the tamarindo drink and he was able to get it to me. He is so on point when I asked him for the spicy oil. Live the experience! PS, there is also live music from Sasi around 7pm since I sit outside. Also, they gave me a postcard to remember by. Great gift. Much appreciatedMore

We had two dinners here during our stay at the Marriott Cancun and our waiter Daniel was amazing. Incredibly friendly with great suggestions for what to eat. Daniel’s service was outstanding, and head and shoulders above staff at other meals. Food was excellent too!More

Jesus and staff at Mikado Sushi Bar at the Marriott Resort Cancun were fabulous, friendly, and gave excellent service. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and enjoy a fantastic meal. Delicious food. Highly recommend.

Carlos was our server at the kasai restaurant at Marriot Cancun resort. He went above and beyond for us. So pleasant, patient, friendly and professional. Service was excellent. Carlos recommended a couple of fantastic beers and two great margarita flavours and spoke better English than me and was super attentive. Sashimi (tuna nz yellow tail) and vege tempura were great (get more tempura than you think you need). Can’t think...of anything they could do better.More
