Ummmm, this is the best sandwich in Mexico. The tiny little restaurant is located normally near a gas station, and the sandwich is fantastic. I got one with ham, cheese, and garlic butter and tomato. The bread is perfectly toasted & hot. And super inexpensive....I should have ordered more.More
We each had a baguette at this restaurant, mine was vegetarian, my friend’s was a ham & cheese. Both with garlic butter. Simply delicious. Clean restaurant, friendly staff, good service.
French baguettes for their thick sandwiches. I have eaten here a few times and some days there is a line on week day lunch times. I was passing today and saw no line and when in to have lunch. Glad I did.
Woman at the counter was blatantly racist. My boyfriend doesn't speak Spanish and really was trying his best to translate and explain that he didn't want a certain ingredient on his sandwich. She sat there and angrily stared at him, refusing to even respond to...what he was saying. I walked over and explained it to her in perfect Spanish, and she still just angrily brooded. Eventually she rolled her eyes and took the order. Kids sat in the restaurant screaming until she rudely came around and brought his food out to go. Turns out, she'd told the cooks to add EXTRA of this ingredient. This was absolutely not a mistake, and there was no confusion when making the order. Totally intentional. Get new staff. Best prices in the city for a pretty good sandwich, just get it to go so you don't feel like you're in a preschool or have to put up with the staff for any longer than necessary.More
You travel half the globe to find a Breton sandwich-restaurant in Cancun. It's a fair bargain for this level of quality. The sandwiches were very good and big enough. Also the coffee is delicious. The service was fast and excellent. We prefer local food but...it was worth making an exeption. The next time we'll be back. Strongly recommended.More
Before going to the grocery store across the street, we had sandwiches on the most delicious perfect French bread and it was very inexpensive. So so good!!!!
This place has really big and tasty sandwiches. Super loaded with all the cold cuts you could ever want. Really fast and enjoyable.

Ty-coz has many locations, some of which you can walk to from your hotel. During a one week stay (and after reading many reviews from locals) I ordered from here 4 days out of the seven we stayed. It was so good that we ordered...subs to go for the plane but forgot them in our hotel room. We made sure we stopped at the location closest to the airport to reload for the trip home. Highly recommend ty-coz, just ask a local. Hint: pronounced tee- coz.More
This little gem is somewhat hidden in the shadow of Casa Tequila, but you'll notice that it almost always has a line of people ordering and waiting for baguettes and croissants. These tasty sandwiches can be eaten outside at the restaurant or taken to go....They have a selection of 3-4 meats (turkey, ham, chicken, salami) and up to 3 cheeses with various condiments (such as picante sauce). I ordered the Ty-Coz special which was 3 meats and 3 cheeses, toasted on baguette, with tomato and picante sauce on the side. It was a huge sandwich and tasted delicous! I happened to order this mid-morning kind of as a brunch, but you could have one of these for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I see lots of folks do takeaway with several sandwiches in a bag. Definitely would recommend this for a very affordable great tasting sandwich any time of day.
