It was on the the first day of my arrival at the Ritz-Carlton, I was famished ! I asked Begoña at the concierge desk the different dining venues the institution had to offer, she recommended the Club Grill. We saved this for last, but wished we had simply gone every night. Wow. Amazing. I can highly recommend the corn soup, which is a long-time specialty of the house, as well as the duck, which is among the best I've ever had. I believe...this restaurant earned it's rating, though, on the attentive and highly-choreographed table service. The staff is hands down the best; rivaling amy fine dining in the largest cities worldwide. I can also recommend the Grand Marnier souffle, which was the perfect night cap. Ask for Oscar.More

My family and I recently enjoyed another wonderful dinner at The Club Grill. First, the ambiance of the restaurant is just lovely; it’s modern and chic – nicely spaced, white linen clad tables with beautiful live music to provide for an exceptional and comfortable environment....Second, the service is simply impeccable. All of the wait staff is friendly, prompt, courteous, and professional. Third, the food is just excellent. We’ve dined at The Club Grill several times over the years (we were very disappointed that it was closed during our last two visits to the Ritz-Carlton, Cancun, but were delighted that it was reopened on this trip), and it’s always a winner. On our most recent visit, I started with the restaurant’s signature corn soup topped with a lovely king crab salad and truffle foam --- perfectly balanced, flavorful, and satisfying. For my second course, I enjoyed the seared foie gras accompanied by caramelized plums and a chocolate sauce – exceptional! For my main dish, I then had the beef filet served perfectly rare-plus as ordered, and with tender vegetables and a savory demi-glace. And, for the final act, I thoroughly enjoyed a true chocolate soufflé which was, as always, incredible. The meal also began with an amuse bouche of a petite teacup of soup and proper bread service with a selection of butters. We enjoyed Champagne and glasses of red with our meal. Service worst I have ever seen. Had reservations at 800 we were sat after they tried to say reservation were at 840. Then Nothing for 25 mins. No bread nothing. Then when we were going to leave they came with wine and bread. Food marginal....Not what I would expect from the Ritz. Staff not friendly. Waiter cold not friendly.More

Excellent service from beginning to end. The staff at the club room were amazingly attentive. The food was delicious! We were a party of six and had a fabulous time and a wonderful meal. Jhonny, our waiter, had only been there a month and you...would never tell: he was like a seasoned professional. Impeccable service and food all around!!More

We were staying at the Ritz-Carlton and decided to stay on-site for dinner. As we entered the Club Grill, I thought "oh no--this looks so stuffy and formal." How wrong I was! Yes, this is an elegant, upscale restaurant, but the staff pull off the...unusual feat of offering a formal presentation of food (with several fourishes for emphasis) coupled with friendly, fun service. The food far exceeded my expectations and was absolutely delicious. We each had a glass of wine, and the pour was generous. I highly recommend the Club Grill.More
