If you’re in the mood for a grossly overpriced, disgusting meal that includes bad service, this is the place for you! We ordered garlic bread and received a basket of soggy rolls with grated cheese on them; no garlic. Seven of us dined and none...of us were happy with our food. One person got explosive diarrhea after eating their “lobster” ravioli, which tasted like ground up catfish. My sons calamari was so salty he couldn’t eat it. My shrimp was tough as shoe leather. Worst dining experience, ever.More

Last night in Cancun, was looking for a quick but satisfying meal for my wife and myself. Been coming to Cancun for years but had never ventured to Limoncellos before. My bad, everything was wonderful. We had 830 reservation . It was a perfect night...with impeccable service by Geraldo and Kevin. My wife had a Ceasor Salad and Pumpkin ravioli and myself a wonderful salad with walnuts and apple and a dressing that tasted like honey/balsamic vinegar. I had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. My only regret is no being able to eat leftovers tomorrow! God willing we will be backMore

We ate at Limoncellos last night. It was delicious from the beginning to the end. I try to eat gluten free and the salad was delicious and my main course was garlic butter lobster tail with vegetables. The other ladies had pasta and couldn't stop...talking about how good it was. Antonio and Carlos made our entire experience at dinner. Their service was like non other. This meal was the best meal of our entire trip!More

We wanted to have some Italian food for dinner. After doing a lot of searching on Tripadvisor and Google, we chose Limoncello and I was very pleased indeed. Limoncello is located on the main road (Blvd. Kukulkan) of the Hotel Zone in Cancun, facing the...lagoon. The great thing for diners to any of the restaurants on this side is that if you want to have dinner and see the sunset, it’s a beautiful view. Limoncello has the advantage of also being a beautiful restaurant—tastefully decorated, yet cozy. But enough about how beautiful the place is. The food and service are also terrific (our waiters Antonio and David were attentive, but not intrusive)! Their menu has something for the person who wants some very good Italian food (both Southern and Northern); they also offer very good seafood, lobsters, pizzas and meat too. They start you off with complimentary fresh flat bread made in their brick ovens served with olive oil. We had the calamari (which was not breaded, but served in a delicious marinara sauce), gnocchi, which were light yet toothy, served with a deep, rich sauce and my wife had the lasagnetta, which was not just delicious, but beautifully presented as well; our friends ordered the seafood, and it was done perfectly. The portions are very generous—so much so, that I didn’t have room to eat dessert (at the restaurant, that is…); we took the tiramisu to go, and I was glad we did, because it was delicious too. They also have a nice wine list at reasonable prices. I would highly recommend Limoncello if you’re in the mood for Italian food, or just after a lovely place to have a nice wine and watch the sunset.More

The lobster here is outstanding. We ordered the 10 ounce tail which is served with pasta. You can also order the whole lobster. Our server, Humberto, was a joy and very helpful with the menu. We dined outdoors, over the water, and felt very safe...with their COVID protocol. It is in walking distance from most hotels in the hotel zone. We come here every year and it never disappoints.More

A lovely setting and enjoyable meal. Beautiful location on the water. Service was attentive and accommodating. Food was very good - from appetizers to dessert. All in all a good evening for all. Would return and recommend

I just left this restaurant. The server “PEDRO” brought our check out, and he asked us, he made it sound very desperate, if we could tip him in cash. That was totally fine with me! We tipped him right ( 18.5%) after doing calculations. (Mind...that we ordered drinks and food all at the same time). He brought us five drinks and three plates. We were super chill and “easy”. So after signing the credit card slip, and giving him the cash tip, (as requested). Pedro came back and embarrassed me by saying that he had to tip out to the restaurant a percentage, (understandable). So I gave him another 300 pesos, to over correct it. I sat there for 1 minute before I totally realized that what he did was totally out of line. I asked to speak to the manager on duty. He was super reluctant, almost completely refused to. At this point, I told him that everything was okay. I then had another employee bring the manager (I NEVER complain, I usually just decide not to dine there again, before complaining) I explained what happened to the manager, and he made me feel like he didn’t believe me. At that point, there was nothing else for me to do. Very politely, myself and my friends left. ROBERTO was the name that the “manger” gave me. I believe that PEDRO the waiter was trying to pocket tip money. ROBERTO seemed like he had his interest as a way higher priority, rather than actually accepting the responsibility as person that should manage the establishment. I totally felt disrespected, and 100% disappointed. This happened 02/25/21 at 10:05pm. -A very disappointed patron I hope the owner reads this, and correct these individuals.More

Over priced and poorly cooked Italian food. Very disappointing dining experience. Did not eat veal dish, paid bill and left. Don't know what kind of meat was served as veal? Eat elsewhere.

While walking around Cancun we stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try. The service and food was excellent. It was partially over the water, great views. Would visit again.

My husband proposed to me in their private mini gazebo surrounded by water. He definitely picked one of the most romantic places in the city. The staff were very warm and kind to us plus they served great food. I had their ribeye on mesquite...grill and my husband had lobster tail in marinara sauce. It definitely did not disappoint our visit and would recommend this place 100%.More

We have drunk juices, iced coke (presumably made from local water) and had no troubles so far.
