I was staying in an Airbnb near this place (actually immediately above it; they are likely moving locations to the corner of Mero Retorno and Nader in a week or two) and passed the entrance a few times a day, but never really looked in....But I thought it had an interesting name. Then one night I was low on pesos and wanted a place where I could pay with a credit card and didn't want to go far and thought, why not go to the place downstairs? Well, it was such a great experience. I am gluten-free so I had rice noodles (fideos de arroz) with beef and a spicy habanero sauce. It was totally different than the usual Mexican food around Cancun, a Thai-inspired fusion. They also make a guacamole-habanero sauce that is spicy and delicious and made on site, which I highly recommend. Estefany and her cuñada gave me Spanish lessons for free (gratis!) for an hour. I came back twice more and the food was always great and the staff were always wonderful. The owner, Efraín, was a really nice guy and likes rugby and American football. If you choose to stop by, be sure to ask him his favorite team. And if you are lucky, you might get some free Spanish lessons, too.More

We randomly stumbled upon on this gem! We absolutely did not expect all the flavors and freshness this place had to offer! Some of the best food I’ve had ever. Our 7 year old daughter had the zombie burger. She loved it to the last...bite. In fact, now she compares all her burgers to this one and says they just don’t taste the same. Needless to say we will definitely be back. In fact, we’re heading there for dinner tonight. Adrian was quick to provide us with the best service and did his best to explain the items on the menu. He made our experience that much better! Highly recommend giving it a try!More

Sometimes finding vegetarian foods in Cancun is a bit challenging, but this place is awesome! They have plenty of food for folks who like fish, meat, etc., but we loved the handmade noodles and the "kushies" are out of this world! And the drinks are...out of this world...and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!More
