I popped in here for a large lunch whilst killing time before my flight home. The service was very friendly and the waiter recommended I have the burrito which I did. The portion size was very generous and the food very tasty! The meal came with some free tortilla chips, rice and guacamole. I came away thoroughly stuffed and saved myself a fortune in airport food.

As we walked down a side street on our way to El Parque de Las Palapas, we were greeted by a waiter named Jesus who recognized from a different restaurant we went to a couple of years ago. He invited us in and are we ever glad we tried El Rinconcito de Puebla! The four of us shared an order of guacamole and the Molcajete Mixto. The Molcajete included shrimp, arrachera, chorizo, cheese, nopales, and onions in an unbelievably flavorful broth. It was served with hot corn tortillas. We all loved it and have plans to return in a few days.

At this restaurant you will find quick service, cheap prices for good Mexican food and friendly waiter service. The food is by no means the best Mexican food I’ve had, but was still quite tasty. We ordered three beers, Fajitas, A burrito and a quesadilla (all vegetarian). The bill came to MX$486.

We found this restaurant on trip advisor. I am so glad we went. It was a few blocks behind the Chedraui. It’s on a very lively street. There are many restaurants, food stands, shops for anything you may want. The service from our waiter was great. He recommended the “parrillada “ for six people. It came with chicken, steak, rice, salad, fries and chorizo. As well as tortillas. It was very good and plenty of food for everyone in our group. The chips and salsa were good, drinks were good and prices were very reasonable. Will definitely keep this in our places to come back to when in Cancun. My kids ordered the pasta, burrito de asada, enchiladas Rojas and everyone liked their meal. Gracias. Also the restrooms were very clean.

I actually was hoping to go to Gory Tacos next door but I couldn't find them open so I went here on a lark and am so glad I did. The atmosphere was fantastic being a locals bar with color and authentic ambience. The food was exactly what I hoped to find in Mexico--delicious sauces and unbelievable pork tacos. Unlike Mexican food in America, they don't dump a mountain of average food on you. Instead, here the meat was flavorful and they gave me just the right amount so that I left the restaurant full but wanting more. Also I learned to love tequila straight up here. I don't know why that is but drinks in their own environment are so much better. Now I won't need a margarita mix to enjoy an excellent tequila. Come here and you'll love it.

Great, authentic and good-priced Mexican food. The place is nicely decorated (including a Mexican flag) and Mexican music is playing all the time - you like it or not. The "aguas frescas" for $30 are good options of refreshment after a day at the beach.

Thank you to Jesus our waiter who was incredibly attentive and spoke excellent English to compensate for our poor Spanish. The food was delicious and very affordably priced, the 2 for 1 cocktails were delicious and fresh. They also gave us free chips and salsas and a free tequila shot. Would HIGHLY recommend and thanks again to Jesus.

Ordered a ceaser salad and could barely see the chicken since it was such a small portion. Asked them to add some more chicken and they charged the dish in duplicate. I would accept half of the charge at the most, but would not expect to get double charged for adding a bit of chicken (when the portion served was ridiculous). Also, what they call ceaser salad Is basically a scarce chicken with lettuce and tomato, nothing else. Very disappointed.

We loved this Mexican restaurant so much when we were here last year, that it was on our “to do” list of things we wanted to repeat. The food did not disappoint. They are located in Downtown Cancun, a little bit away from the Hotel Zone, but easily reachable. It’s not too far from Mercado 23 and Mercado 28 (which are 2 great places to shop for souvenirs that are much cheaper than in the tourist area), so you can kill 2 birds with one stone while in the area. They serve Mexican food that we are accustomed to find in Mexican restaurants, like burritos, enchiladas etc. Their mole sauce is one of the best I’ve ever had. The service is very good too. And the restaurant is cute. I’d recommend you travel out of the Hotel zone for a good, cheap, authentic Mexican meal.

We stopped off here just for drinks and to take advantage of the 2x1 offer on beer. We actually stayed for a few hours and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. Alfredo was our waiter, he was very attentive and fun guy. We did have some nachos after a while to soak up the beer and they were absolutely delicious, I am sure the food would be up to the same standard. Would highly recommend!

Location is on a side road, with possibilities to seat outside or inside. Big placards promotes real Mexican food and 2 for 1 e.g. Corona Beer (65MEP) or Cocktails (70MEP). Service was super friendly and attentive. The food was good, missing a little bit of taste. Overall a nice spot with decent prices.

El Rinconcito was really cute and the service was super friendly and just steps from El Parque de las Palapas. It helps if you speak good Spanish. Our server Lucio did a really good job understanding our broken Spanish and bad accents, and he spoke some English to helps us out. When we ordered Coronas he pointed out that Sol was on special, so he saved us some pesos. In the US we’ve never heard of molcajete except as a tool for making guac, so we ordered it—highly recommend! Beers were cold, food was great, prices were decent, service was on point!

Really good value for what you pay. I got the chicken burrito which was very big! Also very tasty! Their fruit juices are good and very big so definitely worth what you pay! Well filling portions too. Our server was Jonathan and he was very nice and helpful! Food came out very quick too

The service is fine and the tacos were okay and priced well. Rest rooms need to be cleaner and employees should wear masks all the time while preparing food and waiting on tables during the pandemic. The servers tried to meet our needs, but more attention to details is necessary. The tacos were served with everything separate on the plate, which is fine. The food was fresh.

We had fajita de camarón (~180 pesos) and ceviche de camerón (~150 pesos). Delicious, very good portions, reasonable price. Service was great, Aaron was very friendly and attentive. Ambiance was cozy and cute. Also had piñada and virgin margarita which was good.
