My family has eaten at this place every time (at least once) we come to Cancun, and on this trip it was no different except I was solo this time. The name of the restaurant is misleading as it makes you think it's a pizza...place. It is a pizza place, but it's much more than that. The pastas I've had have been literally some of the best I've had anywhere in the world...and, I'm not kidding. This from a "pizza place" at the mall in Cancun. Very surprising. They have good wines, although only a small selection; but, no need to be overwhelmed...just drink wine! I've had the spaghetti carbonara before as well as the fettuccine pratto and the fettucine signor alfredo and others. The pasta itself seems freshly made (I don't know if it is) and cooked perfectly al dente. The ingredients have always made the dishes delicious. I've asked others about this seemingly odd thing that everywhere I go in Mexico the ITALIAN food is always excellently prepared and often times better than authentic that I've had while traveling IN ITALY. There is some legitimate reason why this is true, but I no longer remember the reason. I don't care what that reason is. I just like to eat Italian food while in Mexico and this seemingly simple "mall bar" has some very well prepared food. And, the view is also a plus as you can watch the sunset over the lagoon if you're seated out around the edges of the dining area. And, if you're lucky you may just see one of the native alligators that lives in the lagoon. Really!More
