This restaurant is located out by the pool and has breathtaking views of the ocean. The menu offered a wide variety of selections and the food was delicious. Hugo always took wonderful care of us, his service was exceptional!
The view of the ocean from every table makes this a perfect selection for your meal. Try the tacos and you MUST have the grilled pineapple with coconut ice cream......I ate there everyday JUST for that!
Our Capitan (Carlos) made us very very welcome ever time we dined here. We at breakfast, lunch and dinner multiple times during our stay. This is NOT a beach bar restaurant. Yes, it's by the pool, looking out at the gorgeous beach and water. However,...the menu choices we plentiful and the service was stellar. My favorite dish was the grilled grouper with Mexican spice. The chef's prepare the food out in the open and do a phenomenal job. This was of particular interest to us because most poolside/beachside dining in other hotels prepare the food in the back or at another kitchen and deliver it. Huge shout out to Hugo, Wilson and Gisel for their outstanding service and attention to detailMore

I can only comment on Chichen Itza. It is really a worthwhile trip - I have been there twice. I would make sure that you have a good hat / sunscreen and the prerequisite bottles of water for the trip.
