If you are in Cancún and want to try something different than mexican food you should defenitely try french cuisine at L'Escargot! The various menu offers a lot of exciting french courses suitable for the whole family. The place is like a garden if you want to dine outside. It's also tables available inside if you prefer that. The service... More

We were welcomed by the French owner and the radiance of her personality was evident by the decor of this small place. Wonderful art and table ware put us in the heart of Paris. The escargot is delishious onion soup wonderful. Chateaubriand is tender and tasty, no need for a knife. This is a gem worth finding in the heart... More

A beautiful menu selection for appetizers. French Onion Soup delish. Escargot "out of this world". Filet Mignon has 7 choices for flavor. So tasty. Salmon and chicken available. Lemon Pie is a nice ending or Creme Brûlée. Indoor and outdoor seating. Reservations recommended. Excellent service and music.

VIsited here with a friend from the US that spends the winter in Cancún. He was keen to take us on a Saturday night when his jazz singer friend sang. Oh my word the food was to die for and as we are from Europe this restaurant more than matched any Michelin star restaurant at home. Cannot believe we never... More

Two friends and I enjoyed a superb meal at l'escargot last night. We were celebrating the birthday of one in our trio. The food was outstanding and the service was warm and efficient. Bread is served with delicious butter and a very garlicky aioli. For appetizers, we ordered the French cheese assortment, which was terrific and presented beautifully, and the... More

Recommended by local friends we decided to give it a try despite the fact that we are quite spoiled by the likes of the Union League in New Haven, Chantal's in LA and Lion d.oOr in DC. Well let me tell you that the L'Escargot did not disappoint. The French onion soup is lite and delicious with crusty bread and... More

We live in Cancun and have eaten here many times over the years. Firstly, the owner and daughter are delightfully nice people, anything to the contrary is honestly ridiculous. The restaurant is cozy, romantic and clean. It has the big advantage of having a French menu, which is hard to find in Cancun. The prices are reasonable, much less than... More
