This is not your typical same ole same ole nice Cancun restaurant. Extremely beautiful, probably the most beautiful one I have seen in this area. A beautiful restaurant for anywhere in the world.
Service was awesome from Alejandro and Alexis.
Marco really made us feel special.
Prices although not cheap we’re worth the price for the overall experience and better than some other restaurants we’ve been to.
We are looking forward to going back

Ryoshi is an outstanding Japanese restaurant that offers a unique dining experience with a wide range of delicious dishes. From the moment you enter the restaurant, you are greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that transports you to Japan. The fire show is unique! One of the standout features of Ryoshi is the quality of their food!
Another highlight of Ryoshi is their extensive selection of sake. They have a knowledgeable staff who can guide you through the different types of sake and help you choose one that complements your meal perfectly. The restaurant also has a great selection of beer and wine if you prefer something other than sake.
The service at Ryoshi is top-notch. The waitstaff is attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring that every detail of your dining experience is taken care of. They are happy to answer any questions you may have and can make recommendations based on your taste preferences.
In summary, Ryoshi is a fantastic restaurant that offers a unique and authentic Japanese dining experience. From the quality of the food to the selection of drinks, everything is outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Japanese cuisine or wants to try something new and exciting.

Happened to walk by this restaurant one evening. It’s only a month old. Incredible ambience and architecture of the restaurant. We ended up making a reservation for Tuesday night where they demonstrate filleting a fresh tuna and you were able to sample fresh tuna off of the carved fish itself. We also ordered various sushi from the menu it was incredible. Try the sake sampler. It felt very special and unique. Definitely recommend making a reservation on a Tuesday night. We’re going again for our last night here in Cancun just for the sushi.

It was a very disappointing experience. When I called I specifically asked if it was next to the casino ( since we where gonna walk from canopy, our hotel), and the hostess told me it was.. I had to walk with high heels and no one at the mall knew where ryoshi was, including the people that are there to provide information. Had I known this before I would have wear tennis or dine at the restaurant at the casino, Kai… they also asked me if I was celebrating anything and I told them it was our anniversary, they gave us the worst table next to the waitress Stand all the way to the back, there was a baby throwing up and employees talking all the time by our side. Obviously we couldn’t see anything of the “show”. The service seemed really rushed yet they forgot my entrée, and then asked me if I still wanted it when i was all donde with my meal 🤔.. Also i dont eat anything fried so I asked the waiter to recommend me a sushi roll and his answer was “Well if you are not into extravagant dining ( cause fried it’s the new extravagant, I guess), we can change some of the ingredients.. I honestly thought it was all a joke and was expecting to feel more comfortable at some point but I didn’t. To the point where I left hungry and ate more somewhere else because the logistics where a disaster at the restaurant.. :/

Granted that it was in the hotel zone, the menu is a bit overpriced but it’s ok. It was a very photogenic restaurant, and a great selection of drinks. We were looking forward to having a nice little snack.
What I didn’t like was the pushiness of ordering a ton of things even though we came at 4PM and said we were just there for a snack. They were really pushy, but I was able to brush it off since it’s just probably part of their script.
At the end of the meal, we paid and gave 10% tip. We live in Mexico so we know it’s not customary to leave a tip but we just wanted to. We usually leave 10-15% everywhere. The guy who collected my card let out a very audible sigh (VERY RUDE) and then asked “10%? Is everything ok?” Lol. [His name was Alex.] I should have taken the tip back. Not coming back. Don’t recommend. There are many other good asian fusion restaurants in the area.

Do yourself a favor do not go to this restaurant, we went 10/01/2022 party of 13.
first the orders came cold. second drinks not chilled, Dont care about price but it is kind of expensive but food not good at all.
We ordered duck tacos (small) waiter said they where small, no problem, but they came COLD...

This six-month-old Japanese restaurant in La Isla is beautiful. Bamboo columns and arches that soar high above the floor in neutral colors create a vibe that is definitely serene. Countless staff quietly make sure everything is going smoothly, including precisely placing everything that’s on your table. However, that serenity disappears as soon as the swirling colored lights begin illuminating everything and the DJ starts playing very loud club music, heavy on the beat, that blasts out from numerous speakers. It’s a bit jarring. But, you came for the food and that’s very good! Tempura shrimp and veggies, short rib or mushroom gyozas, a large selection of sushi rolls and the best fried Brussels sprouts I’ve ever had. If you don’t mind the garish lights and loud music that overwhelms any kind of easy conversation, it’s a great place for an excellent Japanese meal.

After hearing positive feedback on this relatively new restaurant, we decided to try it this trip and booked a table. We sat next to the water, to enjoy one of my favorite sunsets overlooking the large Nichupté Lagoon. Our waiter, Diego, was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. In the variety of sashimis we ordered, we savored the most tender and flavorful octopus I have ever tried. Diego and Emanuel were superb hosts and were gracious enough to invite us to move inside after dinner, to witness a special, weekly ‘ronqueo de atún’ (tuna) ceremony in the sushi bar. We enjoyed the various fresh fish appetizers/sushi/entrees so much we returned a few nights later, to the same fine quality of food and service. (Again, well done, Diego!) We look forward to or next visit to the Riviera Maya and will be sure to set aside one or two evenings to enjoy Ryoshi again!

Ryoshi is and amazing restaurant from the greeting from Ms. Fernanda. Made us come back. We was walking by after shopping. She greeted us with a warm smile while going to eat at the Thai restaurant the night before. Her smile and how she cater to us just asking questions was unforgettable. We had to come back to eat. So we did and she greeted us the same as she never saw us before. That ultimate customer service we had to try the restaurant staff out. I was looking for Hamachi Kama which is fish collar. She walked us over to a door that lead to your kitchen. She requested the chef. He came out and stated he had the item. The ambience inside is very impressive the decor to the bar and dj both reminds you of a LAS VEGAS property theme.
Gustavo was our server and he was fabulous , as well as the team he worked with all were consistent. The food presentation was phenomenal and the taste for sushi in Mexico was 2nd to none. The dessert presentation with the fire show was surprising & left a lasting impression on my visit.
The vibe in your restaurant is amazing . From the DJ’s music selection, dancers and the servers catering to your guest every needs.
They all know the menu well. We eat in several restaurants this week and yours surpassed everyone of them.

This was hands down the best meal I had in Cancun. Everything was top notch. Ambiance, service, views, food and location. Directly across the street from my hotel, Westin lagunamar in the la isla mall, behind YSL and LV. Ambiance: it was fairly slow on a Wed night but the decor was beautiful and visually interesting. The fire show was a welcome surprise, the guests were all seated around the water so it felt full, music was at a tasteful and lively level. The service was excellent, had a great virgin cocktail suggestion by my waiter (I’m sober) and a sparkling water. Rodeo and Carlos gave me great suggestions for dinner and every time I finished a plate, it was cleared immediately. They were friendly and I enjoyed such an awesome solo non-intrusive meal, unlike many other restaurants in Cancun. The food! Wow. I was in the mood for a bunch of small bites. The edamame I’ve ever had. The baby corn was so cute and delicious. The brussel sprouts were so flavorful and amazing. The pork belly skewer was perfectly done. The rainbow roll was fresh and pretty. My only disappointment was the tiny ikura nirigi. It sounds like a lot but it was the perfect amount of food for 1 person. I wish I had room for dessert. I travel a lot (9 countries this year) and am surprised to say that Cancun has given me one of the best, most enjoyable meals this year. Highly recommend this place.

The food is just extraordinary. We are big fans of Japanese food and normally go to traditional restaurants. I was expecting a sort of fusion of Japanese and international tastes. However the dishes we enjoyed are top gourmet with high standards. The service is unmatchable. We particularly enjoyed being served by Emanuel and Alex Piña who explain to us every detail of the ingredients and deliver the dishes at the righty pace. Highly recommended for dinner.

We visited this sushi restaurant with the family after our day trip from Playa del Carmen. They had a fun show such as people doing acrobatics while we had our appetizers. The presentation of the food was beautiful and the fish was fresh and delicious. My children love sushi as well as rice bowls they had theses options for the children they do not have a children’s menu. Our experience was enhanced by the service provided by our hostess Liz who suggested a great spot to seat my in laws that are older and my children she made sure to ask about any allergies and if they were any celebrations. We celebrated my husbands birthday and they were very kind to bring a free dessert. Gustavo our server was attentive and suggested great food options such as the tempura shrimp appetizer with salad and the spicy margarita for drinks. This restaurant is located in the Isla mall.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and consists of three different areas. If you want to be seated outside with a view of the lagoona, you must book your table in advance. The food is remarkable and unique, The waiters are very welcoming and chatty, and will help you to chose your meal if you are stuck. Every night there are short 10 min shows that take place every hour. We were lucky to see both a fire show and rope acrobatics. The desserts are very tasty, I would recommend saving some space for them.
However, there seems to be an issue with card payments. Even though I didn't have any issues paying by card around various places in the Hotel zone, my card could not be read at the restaurant. after a stressful and embarrassing jog to the nearest ATM (which is not very close to the restaurant) the issue was solved by paying in cash. If you are planning to dine at this restaurant, bring some cash (either dollars or pesos) for your peace of mind.

We passed by this Japanese inspired restaurant after eating at a nearby one. Our teenagers heard the music and saw the lights and begged us to make reservations for Saturday night (to experience the show). So glad we listened! We had an excellent dinner (small plates to share). Sushi, pork dumplings, stir fried ice with ribeye, shrimp & vegetable tempura & rice bowls were all excellent! The banana pie was an excellent recommendation for dessert!
The girls loved the DJ & music and they loved the food. The 9:00 show was entertaining and the birthday wish from the waitstaff was full of energy and sparklers!!
The waitstaff was superb and explained the menu in detail. The dining experience alone was amazing! Will definitely return on our next visit to Cancun. Side note…Sitting close to the water, I had to spray on some Off….Mosquito bites and all, I would not change a thing!!!!

Came to Cancun for a relaxed trip with my wife and we picked Ryoshi Japanese Restaurant for our date night. Ryoshi is so chic and beautiful decorated. The food (pork belly, lobster taco, 7 varieties sashimi, …) is so good and the service from our waiter Christopher made our dinner so memorable. So we decided to come for dinner the next night.
This time we picked different dishes (shrimp/ vegetables yakimeshi, shirashi, rainbow roll, and pork belly again) did not disappoint us. Our waiter, Diego, is extremely attentive and courteous. Another great dinner!!! Highly recommended!
