A friend mentioned to us that when in Cancun Hotel Zone, we should try Ah Cacao @La Isla. So we did - and what a pleasure this was. The friendly staff provided a couple chocolate samples to choose which hot chocolate drink we would prefer....We both loved the Maya version with spices and chile - no worries, it is very light. We also purchased a gift pack of 5 bars and a large Maya chocolate. Definitely recommend.More

I'm a chocoholic. A chocolate cafe? When I found out there was one by our hotel it was on my must do list. I bought myself a sipping chocolate. Where I live a sipping chocolate is hard, if not impossible, to come by. It's a...cliche, but as I said to my wife when I got back to my room, I had died and gone to heaven, the sipping chocolate was that good! I also bought five chocolate bars of varying flavors. Can't wait to dive into them. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough. I'll be back a few times before our vacation is over as there are far too many treats to tackle in one visit.More

Such a wonderful Chocolate Coffee Dessert shop. I went here every day on my recent visit to Cancun. In my mind they put Starbucks to shame. I love their frozen Frappuccino’s I even purchased their coffee to take home. The kids that work there are...so nice as well.More

The best Mocha I ever had! The location is great and there's plenty of space outside. They also have a corn cake which is delicious!!!! Highly recommended!

Fun place and great atmosphere. I had a mocha which was made with real chocolate. Also got some chocolate and coffee to take back home with me. Friendly staff

Completely hooked on the coconut ice cream, been to several locations on this trip and all were great, clean with friendly staff. We tried a few of their pastries and the coffee both were just ok. If you're looking for an edible souvenir this would...be a good stop for you, as their packaging is quite attractive. The cardamom chocolate has an interesting taste.More

We hit up the chocolate samples, and got some chocolate for the wife to help her be less crabby :) It totally worked. I got some coffee nearby and we ate it outside in the beautiful plaza.

We love this place so much that we went there EVERYDAY we were in Cancun. The staff was super helpful and friendly, always ready to give you samples and explain their products. We were particularly addicted to their iced chocolate drink, chocolate frappe, iced latte,...chocolate brownies, and of course their chocolate cake! Needless to say, we bought lots of the chocolate bars and choco/nut spread to take home to our family and friends. I skipped the skin products (they have shampoo, chocolate massage body oils, body cream, soap) but they all smelled lovely. We can't wait to go back.More

This is a great shop to stop in for a drink, treat or quick snack. They also sell chocolate bars and chocolate body products. I had a frozen chocolate smoothie which was so good. I bought a couple f chocolate bars and they were also...really good. Much better than the chocolate sold at the souvenir shops.More

You find them on several locations, in Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Since I lived in both cities I am very familiar with all their locations. I love the coffee the brownies are absolutely yummy and the cornetto de Jamon y queso is great. Well,...all is good at AH Cacao, even the wifi. No need to go to the ever so expensive Starbucks, you get better coffee here for less money and the food is fresher!More

My husband and I love this Chocolate Cafe! We always make sure to make this a "must" visit when in the Riviera Maya. We love their ice coffee! Their chocolate is delicious! They let you sample all of their products before purchasing. My favorite is...the Mayan dark chocolate. We always end up bringing several treats home with us from the coffee to the different chocolate. The people have always been friendly and offer excellent service with a smile. Definitely our favorite chocolate cafe!More

Great spot inside La Isla. They have an amazing selection of chocolate and drinks. They let you sample any of the chocolates sold before you buy. The staff are very nice and extremely helpful.
The coffe shop is just a ordinary coffe shop. Just went their for the cartoon coffee. They had a great cheesecake.
Went crazy at this store - came three times in six days. Bought all our souvenirs here. The cold chocolate whipped drinks were amazing. The service was excellent.
