It's a small venue with many options of local food on the menu. Ideal for snacks and bites. They did not have beers on offer, and all juices were freshly made - so go for juices instead of bottled or canned drinks. The food was...good, mostly fried, but not the tastiest tacos that one can get in Cancun. Not worth a taxi drive from other places in the city. Prices though were really low, apart from the Italian espresso we ordered at the end of our meal, which had a cost equivalent of half of the bill (70 pesos for 2 coffees!!). It's a closest option if you're visiting the urban park Kabah.More

I love this restaurant the food was excellent and the service was good it was clean. A little bit off the beaten path and away from the hotel zone but definitely worth it if you want authentic empanadas etc.

It's bad, bad, bad. Nothing, but bad. Wanted to try 3 different things, got just 2 of them, cause waiter mixed orders (how possible - i was alone). Both empanada and pambazo were not tasty. They guys are too proud of Guy Fiery visiting them,...they totally forgot that is was about the food, not marketing. Skip it. Unfortunately, don't worth the effort.More

This is a great place to eat real Mexican food, "fast food" but delicious as empanadas or quesadillas, salsas were also great and the price is really good. Sometimes you just have to take a look at this places to really get to know Mexican...food. It has a friendly environment for all ages and I'd come back if I have the opportunityMore

Delicious food, cozy setting and good service. Feels like you’re eating at your grandmothers with a variety of delicious homemade Mexican staples. Try everything on the menu we did and it was cheap and yummy!

We went to this establishment on our first day in Cancún. The owner was our waiter and recommended us some dishes. It was very affordable and we not to far from where we were staying. They accept Visas at this place.

Great experience for me and my family. Every year that we came to Cancun it's an obligate stop. We love Panbazos, Quesadillas, empanadas and Chiles Rellenos. Guy Fieri ate here and we recommend, also there is a Chapter on Food Network that this wonderful restaurant...appears.More

One of the better finds I've made in Cancun. Excellent original food that you don't find in other restaurants... And very reasonable prices. Yes they do need to serve beer though!! Overall this place is a hidden gem worth finding!

Downtown Cancun. Looks like a dive but keep going, the food is delicious. This is Mexico City food, not MexTex. Chili Relleno is the house specialty and lived up to the reputation. Gorditos and Empanadas also excellent. No alcohol, very inexpensive. Very busy with locals....Heard of this place from Guy Fieri on Dinners, Drive-ins and Dives.More

Great ambience. Excellent food. Everything is fresh. The chilli Renaldo's, pambazo Cubano and the huaraches pollo Asado were fantastic and were plenty for two people. No alcoholic beverages are served but the guava smoothie and horchata beverages were delicious Restaurant has a take out menu...and a coffee bar. A new favourite for us !More

Yes its a little bit of a cab ride [$18] but a real gem.We took a Photo of the name and address with us and boy was it useful. These people are so friendly. The locals eat here. Met other food warriors from all over...in search of original Mexican food. This time Mexico City style I am told. But the owner he greets you and tells you about all the choices, so friendly. No Liquor menu but who needs it when you have all the fresh made fruit waters. The water melon juice amazing just the thing to cool if you care to use the hot sauces. Don't miss the 'Gorditas' that was to start then the 'Emmoladas' [Poblano peppers] Then the vegetarian and Mexican 'Pambazos' Yes will recommend this place to anyone wishing to explore away from the usual Generic food food options that may become a little boring.More
