Found this on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try cus it was close to our Airbnb. We paid 430 pesos including tips for a glass of sangria, a lemonade, a large veggie pizza and Gnocchi. We were very satisfied with the food :) Staff is also extremely attentive here.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. Now, my girlfriend is lovely, but these waiters knew their charm. And if the main course hadn't of excited me, the dessert that was on the house definitely got my pants off.
All in all it was one saucy experience, however the tip was included, which is not sexy.

The owner of the restaurant is from Napoli, the birthplace of the Pizza and for that I expected a really good pizza.
And the pizza was good (we had the Margarita).
Service was outstanding. We were lucky enough to have the owner in and he helped as a lot. He even went to another place to get a second high chair, charged only half of the kids pasta and was, along with his staff, an excellent host.
Would definitely come back again.

Hidden in downtown Cancun I live here and I did not know about it is this place small Italian trattoria with amazing Napoli style pizzas. The service is very good and the waiters are Italians. The price very good. It has a just a few tables an a small very nice terrace to eat outside. I will be going there frequently now.

My husband and I were only in Cancun for one night as a stopover for our flight to New York so we didn't really want to venture too far from our hotel for dinner. We wandered past Buonissimo and decided to give it a try. So glad we did, as it was one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. We shared a large pizza and it was perfect for two people. The service was really friendly and the beers not too expensive. I honestly can't stop thinking about how good that pizza was, and such a surprise as well as I did not expect that in Mexico. If you're staying nearby you'd be crazy not to come here.

We just got back from Cancun Centro and made many stops here
Pizza was excellent and the price was good....it was made in a wood burning oven
Being near our hotel it was great to find this place,this was our 3rd trip downtown in the last 1 1/2 yrs and we always go back.
Our favorite server is Amedeo,he does a great job and his English is very good..which helps a lot.

If you feel like something other than the usual Mexican fare, this place is nice. The smell of the pizza oven is inviting and the place is well appointed and quiet. Our servers were awesome and one is actually from Italy.

This was a great little place downtown in Cancun that was a nice change from all of the other places nearby. If you want amazing Italian food while in Cancun then this is the place to be. Great staff, atmosphere and delicious food. Stopped in a few times and the it was just as great each time. Thank you.

We walking by in the downtown area one night and an American couple eating at the table outside recommended it - said they ate there once or twice a week. We had spaghetti bolonaise and lasagna. They were just average - not great. Wish we had ordered the pizza.

Buonnissimo Trattoria Italiana was located on a side street between my hotel and Parque Las Palapas. After passing by a few times, I was attracted by the smell of smoke from the wood fired oven and decided to give them a try - and I'm glad I did. The owner and staff are Italian and the margherita pizza was one of the best I've ever had. The tall cold glass of sangria was a refreshing break from the cervezas I'd been drinking during the trip.

After being in Cancun for almost a week, I was getting a little sick of tacos, so we came here. I'm so glad we did. I had the fettuccine alfredo - I'm pretty sure it was the best I've ever had. My husband had a calzone and also raved about it. The service was great and the servers spoke English really well, which was helpful. Definitely worth checking out!

A nice little restaurant right around the corner from Hotel Xbalamque in downtown Cancun. They have a stone oven in which they cooked the pizza. It was delicious.
The staff was very nice. We enjoyed the ambience.

We went there for dinner and after than we went there for a whole week it was awesome!! The service is really nice and the food is just amazing! One of the best pizza I've ever eaten!! It's amazing! You have to go there!
