Relaxing

We had lunch today at AlMar sea food bar in Larnaca. The food was delicious, the place and everything inside was so clean, and we were served by a professional and kind lady named Valanto.

possibly the best restaurant we've ever eaten at

Amazing

Our dinner at tempo was amazing! Three choices of bread or three choices of butter. Where else? I don’t like this gazpacho or beet but I was licking at my plate. The deconstructed salad was unusual. The churros for dessert were out of this world....Tempo is worth every penny. I really enjoyed the Mexican wines.More

Fantastic service and phenomenal culinary display of skill. This was a world class experience. Also live piano was a very nice touch. We didn’t go for tasting menu and instead selected 2 appetizers, 2 entrées and split the dessert. Portions provided were super generous and...restaurant provided 2 complimentary amuses. Great dining experience

We dined at Tempo during our honeymoon at Paradisus Cancun. As guests of the hotel, we were entitled to a one-off free 3 course meal or we could have paid $50 extra for the tasting menu. We opted for the free menu and it didn't...disappoint. The only weird dish was the salad with jelly - very unusual... The food kept coming and coming and the service by Ignacio was excellent - very attentive and professional. We had a bottle of Moet and Chandon champagne with our meal and were able to use our $20 off a bottle of champagne coupon - champagne, water and service came to US $150. There was a smell of damp in the restaurant and some of the decor was a bit dated (we could see staples holding the black fabric together on the bottom of the fixed bench) which is why Tempo fell short of 5 stars. Definitely worth a visit when you're staying at Paradisus!More

I don’t know where to start! The amazing experience we had at this place. The service was top notch, best service we ever had. The food was phenomenal, the explosion of flavors is indescribable. An unforgettable culinary experience

Best Culinary Experience in Cancun

We dined at Tempo by Martin Berasategui last Saturday night before we headed back to our home in California. It was the perfect experience to end our first stay in Cancun and celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary. We arrived at the restaurant a bit early...and they greeted us warmly with a glasses of prosecco. You have a choice between the ala carte menu or the tasting menu. We choose the tasting menu with wine pairings and we are so glad we did as it was amazing. Each dish was expertly executed by the chef Ishmael and there wasn't one dish that I thought wasn't exquisitely presented and delicious. Andres, our maitre'd was exceptional in taking care of us for the night and was very personable. He explained the composition of every dish to us and the best way to enjoy all the flavors of each dish. He also had set the pace the dishes very well to create an relaxed and enjoyable experience. We had mentioned when we had setup the reservation that it was our anniversary and the restaurant surprisingly sent us a beautiful dessert. We also loved the pianist who played for us that night and really set the tone for us to relax and have an enjoyable experience (we have two young children so it was a rare night on the town for us!). All in all we loved Andres and Tempo. We think it would be on par to many of the fine dining establishment we have in San Francisco. We can't wait to head back the next time we are in Cancun!More

Outstanding Experience

This restaurant puts the FINE in fine dining. From the minute we arrived we were treated like royalty. We received complimentary champagne, small bites and dessert. They did a special thing for our honeymoon, we felt incredibly celebrated. Our waiter, Ignacio was wonderful, he made...the experience informative, personal and wonderful.
