Had a breakfast quesadilla and a beef soup after a morning run- the food was good but the bathroom was not very clean.

We came here for dinner, was mostly empty. Service was nice, the server tried his best explaining the entrees in English. We had the chorizo tacos and pollo alambres, and both were very flavorful and yummy. We ran out of days, but would have loved to visit them again.

The place offers authentic Mexican food, like the type you'll find in Mexican Homes. Loved the guacalome sauce and the Consome de Barbacoa. Very Affordable!

My wife and I visited here in mid September 2022 because we wanted to experience Typical Mexican food & drinks. All other bars in the vicinity charge 21 Pesos for Corona se we assumed this would be the same. Nope. The bill came and it was double price. I questioned the owner and said “Look. All the other bars are 21 Pesos”. He just shrugged his shoulders and intimated … that’s them not us. I asked him if Mexicans paid same prices as tourists and he smiled and walked away. Well, this guy is certainly not the smartest because we were actually going to eat here and have a few drinks because the Irish Bar was closed. He just lost 10 times what we spent. Silly man.

The goodness is real. Tacos al pastor were tasty enough that I went twice and I was thrilled to find chicharrones on the menu. The staff was super patient as I practiced my terrible Spanish. Great spot to hang out and enjoy a meal.

I was thrilled to find a place that served a good barbacoa with beef! In this area of Mexico, that's a rarer find. Their tacos are delicious, juicy and tender. Quesadillas are made with the thicker masa and are not to be missed.

My partner and I read some excellent reviews about this place and they were true! It's a very unassuming restaurant with tasty quality food, reasonably priced, and marvellous staff. Our waiter was Carlos and although he spoke little English and we spoke little Spanish he guided to us to two awesome dishes to order. We had the Alambra arachera and the costra arachera. If you like cheese they are not shy with it in their meals. We were so happy with this find and we will be back with friends and family. Gracious Carlos, the rest of the staff and the chef!!!!!

Good place to get some informal food in an interesting setting under the entrance to the Plaza de Toros bullfighting ring. Nice open air tables, handmade tacos, cochinita pibil, good aguas frescas - we had jamaica (hibiscus) which seemed very natural without added sugar.

Watched our food cooked in front of us on the griddle. Felt almost Japanese. Arachera a favorite. Not much English, but we muddled through.

We were originally going to the place next door but it was closed. Our noses led us here. It was delicious! We had the chorizo, pastor, barbacoa tacos, a quesadilla and some quest fundidio. Everything we had was delicious and at a great price. My favorite was the chorizo! It looked like they were doing a lot of takeout for locals also. I figure if it's popular with the locals then it must be the place to go! Highly recommend this place!

This is not a glamorous place. If what you're looking for is affordable and delicious, then you will find it here. It is straight-up, real Mexican, delicious food. There's a good variety of dishes, and the quality is top-notch. IMHO, you can never go wrong with the tacos. Try the barbacoa; it is mutton, but don't let that fool you. It's marinated intensely, cooked very slowly, and it is fall-apart fantastic. For tacos, order 4 or 5, to start. That will probably make a good meal for most people.

A very typical mexican style food, the place is also very casual, for lovers of the best dishes and original mexican plates. Ideal to go when you are out of the Disco-bar, I think it opens all night long. (I think) Try the "quesadilla of picadillo" is delicious!! #zazshares
