This is our second year in a row staying at Nizuc. We started requesting Orlando, Fernanda and Elizabeth last year and did again this year. All of the staff seem great, but Orlando and his team go above and beyond to provide a tremendous dining...experience. I would recommend requesting he and his team when you go for breakfast. Great service by Orlando . I’m gluten free and he’s very accommodating when I need or want something special to eat. I can now have pancakes every morning if I want.

Just had an amazing time at Moon palace Nizuc. The El Manglar restaurant (Cancun) was wonderful with an excellent selection of foods from around the world and was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The service from the staff at the hotel was 1st class,...in particular from Javier Robertos and Angela, they were always so happy to help us and make our stay amazing. We particularly enjoyed lunch at this restaurant - welcome relief from the intense heat, and also better options for myself as I'm not a particular lover of fast food, which was what was available poolside! The biggest draw to this restaurant though, was the immense...service given to us by Alejandro. He was an absolute super star and is a true credit to MP!More

When you go on a trip sometimes there is one or more people that make a great fun trip that much better. For me it was two different employees at the Manglar Buffet restaurant. Server Orlando Itza was amazing, funny, and always there when needed....He serves however many people per shift and yet still remembers what my wife, daughter, and myself wanted or need. Elsi Poot a chef working the omelet bar. After the first-time ordering an omelet from her she like Orlando remembered how I liked it. These traits are things that impress me.More

We tried a few of the specialty restaurants before we decided to have dinner here, and we are so glad we did! Staff was more attentive than anywhere else on the resort. Tables were cleared promptly, beverage topped without having to ask, the food was...always fresh and diverse. I missed more Mexican options and had to bypass two whole sections at every meal: sushi and Indian, apparently very popular choices but neither one my favorite. Breakfast was amazing, with a delicious mimosa bar and tons of fruit. There was never a wait, and the service was seamless.More

Santiago was always waiting for us in the morning. There was 7 of us and he made sure our table was ready as I am sure he does for every guest. What a pleasure.

My wife and I just came back from a wonderful vacation at the Moon Palace in Cancun. We were there from 01/29/2022 thru 02/05/2022 We brought our two adult children, and their partners, and we all had a great time. We have been vacationing at...the Moon Palace for over 10 years and each time it gets better. The weather was great (low to mid 80's) and the resort is beautiful. What makes the Moon Palace extra special for us is the staff. Over the years we have made friends with many of the staff, especially those at the “El Manglar” restaurant at Nizuc. What is amazing to us is that with all the people that pass thru this restaurant each year, many of the staff remember us from year to year. Everyday Elsy, the chef at the omelet grill, makes my breakfast. She remembers what I like and gets things started for me as soon as I get in line. She is always so warm and friendly. It is a great way to start my day. Miguel Yah works the evening shift at El Manglar and has been taking care of us for years. Every year he and his friends prepare a special dinner for us on our last night. It is the highlight of our trip. This year Miguel Yah, Fabiola Ay and Jesus Garcia took care of the six of us for dinner. The head waiter for the evening was Alejandra Luna and the chef was Oldner Zacarias. The service, the food, and the atmosphere were exceptional. We were not dining in a restaurant with strangers. We were having dinner with friends. We cannot say thank you enough for a wonderful experience.More

Orlando Hza, Rode Cruz, and Frenanda Mondragon blew us away at the mangler. They were very attentive and our 6 year old daughter adored them. If staying at the nizuc and going to the buffet I would recommend this trio they were excellent! Nizuc staff...is incredible.More

We enjoyed our meals at the buffet. And we were especially happy to see the resorts sanitizing efforts - every person approaching the food area is asked to be wearing a mask and to receive hand sanitizer every time. This policy was very reassuring and...helped me to relax and enjoy the good food.More
