All reviews tacos al pastor chorizo pineapple guacamole pork nomads hostel taco place spoke perfect english our waiter super tasty fast service delicious mexican food nice service great server cold beer place to eat
Just a jump, skip and a hop away from Nomads Hostel across the street, this place had an amazing variety of tacos, except for fish/ shrimp tacos. They accommodated vegetarians with their hibiscus and cactus tacos, and had so many varieties of meat options. The...food came out quick and Francisco was so helpful, he made our experience there 100% comfortable and easy. Due to COVID, there could only be 6 people per table, so two of us sat separately but Francisco rearranged the tables nearby and it still felt like we were all together.
Overall, I would highly recommend this place!More
Do yourself a favor if you are staying in the hotel zone. Catch the R1 bus for 12 pesos and get off as close as you can and walk a couple blocks to this restaurant. They have amazing tacos and the best priced food we...had in Cancun. The young guy (Francisco but not 100%)that waited on us spoke very clear English and was super nice. I wish they were open earlier and I would have been more than once. Their salsa for the tacos is really tasty and more Mexican authentic. They open at 4pm everyday.More
This is my favourite taco place!! I’ve visited them so often and I’m still in love. I can highly recommend the grilled/crunchy cheese (chicharon de queso), the taco de pastor, taco vegan and the gabachita de pastor. Definitely a must when you come to cancún!!
We visited for our first meal in Mexico and it didn't disappoint! The tacos are good! Was a little far from the main tourist area but with a car and Google maps it's no problem at all and much nicer getting away from the hotel...zone and all the touristy restaurants.
Our waiter, Francisco was amazing and made the evening 5*. His English was great (and our Spanish isn't so good!) He explained the menu, gave us recommendations and was really attentive and friendly. We also got a menu in English which was a relief!
They didn't have any chicken which was a bit disappointing as it's the kids favourite but this didn't spoil the meal.More
This place was amazing! The tacos were great, there are so many different options to choose from. We really appreciated the uniqueness of the tacos, our favorite was the coapeñito! Our server was super friendly and outgoing, s/o to Francisco! We are so glad we...decided to come here and we would definitely come again. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Awesome spot!More

More likely it cuts down on the amount of time, water, & dish soap used to wash :) I drank the tap water at every single place we visited in the Yucatan (except one hotel in Tulum - the host made a point of telling us NOT to drink the tap water) and did not have a problem....street tacos are delicious, but incredibly messy - plastic wrap helps with the clean up!
