I have not had such terrible tacos in a long time. The meat was not even finely diced. I got a blob of fat in one of my tacos. Very oily and without taste. They were not ready with the pastor tacos either. Service was...court.More
Food was very good. One of the best tortas we’ve had in Mexico. Quickly frankly it slapped for those who understand our English slang. Good portion sizes which even filled up the big boy (el gordo, pictured right).
Good selection of beers as well.
Waitress...(Amairani, pictured left) was very friendly and service was quick.
Would recommended to my friends and even not my friends.
We stopped in for dinner after walking around Mercados 23 and 28, after reading how incredible the tacos were. We ordered margaritas and beer, and decided on the food. We each ordered something a little different, including dessert, but the clear winner of the night...was the Coapenito tacos. The meat was seasoned perfectly, the chicharron a nice addition, and the red sauce dribbled on top rounded it all out. Don't forget to add the spicy onions! We plan to go back again this trip, as the prices were very reasonable and the food fantastic.More
The food here was amazing. The flavors of their tacos were the best I had in my time in Mexico. Our waiter Pedro was wonderful, funny and extremely helpful. The man may be responsible for my tequila addiction. lol! Seriously, if you are in Cancún,...do yourself a favor and stop in. You will not regret it.More

More likely it cuts down on the amount of time, water, & dish soap used to wash :) I drank the tap water at every single place we visited in the Yucatan (except one hotel in Tulum - the host made a point of telling us NOT to drink the tap water) and did not have a problem....street tacos are delicious, but incredibly messy - plastic wrap helps with the clean up!
