This place has been in business for the 10 years we have been coming to Cozumel and likely was here well prior to that. It has been very consistent in quality at a good price point. We enjoy the fresh fish prepared in a variety of ways and the "Mexican" dishes are nicely done as well. The staff is generally... More

We stopped in for lunch as it was convenient and we had eaten here before. The food was very good. We were seated at a table near the front concierge desk. The service we received was disappointing. There was music while we ate. It was fun music, but quite loud. I would go back, just request a different location to... More

I would not have normally stopped in a restaurant like this, as it struck me as an obvious tourist trap. But here we were on a Monday night, empty streets, pouring rain and thunder, nothing open, and a very nice gentleman coaxed us inside. We were starving from not eating much all day, and we left very satisfied. They give... More

We ate at this restaurant after a scuba adventure. We were looking for some good authentic mexican food to eat. Our cab driver mentioned this place so we decided to try it out. I had a delicious tortilla soup at the beginning of my meal. I had steak tacos that were amazing and my boyfriend ended up getting the chicken... More

La Mission is located off of the square in downtown, if you get a chance to visit, make sure to try the Lime Soup. It is fabulous. I had the Mexican Combination and it was a nice plate to give everything a try. Chili rellanos were the best.

This is a tourist restaurant. They don't really have authentic food. I bought chicken tacos, which was bits of greasy blackened chicken and a side of guacamole for 12 dollars, the cheapest item on the menu. There are dozens of other great Mexican restaurants near here and it's worth seeking them out for better food and value.

I recently went to La Mission and I would highly recommend it! I ordered steak tacos and absolutely loved it! It came with fresh guacamole which was delicious. My boyfriend had Mexican Chicken and loved it as well. The chicken tortilla soup was also really, really good! Even my boyfriend liked it, and he insists that he is not a... More

Really enjoyed the food here. Was recommended by a couple of different taxi drivers and decided to try it. Tourist restaurants and are always a little hit or miss, so we were hoping it would be as good as said. The food really was great and authentic. I had a chili relleno and it was outstanding. We also ordered the... More

We were going to go to a restaurant around the corner, but the taxi driver suggested La Mission. Glad he did! Great service, food, and atmosphere. Food was fresh and prepared just right! Ordered Margaritas, and they were a bit tart. I ordered an extra side of tequila to even it out, and they brought it out at no charge.... More
