We love La Lobsteria! This was our second time to this lovely gem. I had the grouper (simply prepared in brown butter sauce) and my fiance had the lobster (enormous!), both of which were delicious. Tasty margaritas and guac too. Midway through our meal the owner, Omar, showed us the largest king crab we've ever seen - caught fresh that... More

Had dinner here the first night we were on Coz. Good location several blocks off the square. It was a quiet night – only one other table while we were there. We shared the seafood platter for 2. It had lobster, grouper, shrimp, crab claws, squid on it. It was all excellent and cooked perfectly. By far the best squid... More

We stayed in Cozumel for two months and dined three times at La Lobsteria. Omar, the owner is very friendly and provides exceptional service. We really liked the quiet and quaint atmosphere of the place. You can spend quite a bit of money if you buy one of their large lobster tails which they bring out to show you before... More

Their lobster is way overpriced and the atmosphere was not good, It's in an old building and is a bit run down. Service was slow and they don't take credit cards.

My wife and I had a dinner here and it was quite expensive. The price for her roaster lobster tail was $40, which we were both surprised about, but obviously asking when you get the bill isn't exactly the right way to do things. That being said, both our meals were very good, but the final dent in our wallet... More

I can kind of agree that La Lobsteria is a little pricey, but worth it. We generally go there for our first meal when we arrive, so it tends to be lunch, not dinner. What we do love is the ceviche'. It is the best on the island. Fresh, full of shrimp, pulpo (if you wish), conch and grouper. Not... More

Had the Lobster, and the wife had the King Crab. The size of the crab dwarfed my lobster, but that was to be expected. The crab was good, but kind of a pain to eat. The lobster was average, yet very kind of pricy. Each meal cost about $30, and we found cheaper, better lobster, at other places in town.... More

Less than you'd pay in the us for much better lobster. Very friendly staff. The cook must have had professional training, he knows what he is doing!

We went there for lunch, and it was decent. The good: We had free drinks with our meal (thumbs up!) The lobster was cooked well The bad: I feel we got similar dishes on the island for less expensive prices. One note - My pasta with lobster probably had almost as much lobster as the standalone lobster dish my partner... More
