You get lots of good meat and sides at a very inexpensive price. The total for the sampler platter and 2 beers was about $15. Service was great.... More

Don't skip El Billy's because you're afraid of a shanty or you can't be bothered. This is a fine area and the food is insanely good! We took a taxi and brought it back to our hotel. Try a little of all the different meats. The pork is very good and you'll never find anything like it back home. I... More

The meat is juicy and tasty, the smell of the smoke... Wow! The restaurant have only few places (max 10), we pay 360 pesos for 3, with... More

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Playa Palancar. They tried to push a special for USD 20 but I knew it was going to be too much food so we just ordered 1/4 kg of costillas and 1/4 kg of poc chuc which were brought out with rice, tortillas and veggies. It was more than enough and... More

This place is a little out-of-the-way but we took our rented scooters here. It was by far our favorite cheap eats on the island. The flavor of the smoked chicken is out of this world. We bought some barbecue sauce from mega and had this chicken for lunch multiple times while we were there. If you can work your way... More

Seems to be mostly a take out place. We decided to have dinner there and found no tables set up when we arrived. The staff set up a table for us when we indicated that we would like to have dinner there. We ordered the sampler platter which was way more than the two of us could eat. It was... More

We went to get some chicken based on the 5 point reviews and I left confused. The establishment was pretty dirty, the service was curt, the chicken was dry and on top that they wanted to charge is 30% of the bill if we wanted to dine in instead of take out. Not a bad place and not expensive for... More
