Loved the chilli relleno. Small place with big heart. Classic and authentic. Kids enjoyed it too and the owner is quite the character.

We stopped by this little gem for take-out and, my god, the food is delicious. If you walk behind the restaurant - along the sea wall - there are women cooking behind La Lomita out in the open. Very rudimentary kitchen which explains why the food tastes like you're visiting someone's home. Highly recommend.

In the restaurant we stopped on the way back to the hotel. Interesting exterior and not so the interior of the restaurant. Choice of food is very interesting. It helps if you understand Spanish. Seafood is excellent.

This was one of our favorite restaurants on Isla. The last 2 years' visits were a bit disappointing. Of our 2 couples, 2 liked our meals, 2 weren't satisfied. I had enchiladas. The mole sauce was great but I would have liked them better cooked. My wife had the chilli relleno. She could not have it stuffed with cheese so... More

Located a little ways from the main drag on a quite side street. La Lolita is a great place for Chile Rellenos, black bean soup and chicken mole enchiladas. Love the cold beer served in chilled glasses. Only a few tables but we always seem to find a seat within a few minutes. No frills just a small place with... More

Let's say this place is fantastic. The Chili Rellenos was excellent. The filling and batter were the best I've had. We also had shrimp, garlic and battered. Both were generous sized and delicious. Go early as it fills up fast

We were so pleasantly surprised to come across La Lomita in the downtown area of Isla Mujeres. This spot is tiny and staff are friendly. A great selection of homemade juices in the fridge, grilled conch, and tart, fresh ceviche makes this a perfect lunch option on a hot day. Stop in to La Lomita if you're looking for a... More

Had the Ceviche and the Guacamole and it was so good we had to go back. The serving size for the Ceviche was muy grande!!! Definitely worth trying.

I had the chile rellenos stuffed with shrimp and my wife had the lime soup. Both were very good. The chile pepper was cooked to perfection. Our friends had a pulpo ceviche which I tasted and was also good. Prices were very reasonable.

We stopped for a late lunch - my husband had chicken fajitas and I had the chicken enchiladas suizas (also offered with mole sauce instead of suizas). The enchiladas were absolutely fantastic - my favorite meal on Isla Mujeres in five days!
