I can’t say I’ve ever felt that we received worse treatment for being American in ANY place in the Yucatán but here. The owner/waiter treated our party with an apparent disgust. And, we don’t drink alcohol so we weren’t belligerent drunks either. Other parties were...native Spanish speakers and they clearly received better service and food. The food? You will be greatly disappointed. Chips were as thick as leather and burnt to a crisp. No salsa available. Tacos needs to be removed from restaurant name. Beef was cubed, minimalistic and reminded me of the old Tender Vittles—order it and you’ll see what I mean! Recommendation? If I could give it no stars I would. Overhyped.More
We went here for tacos and it was the best mexican food we have had. We ordered the guac to start and it was delicious. We then ordered a mix of the tacos between us to share. We had the fish tacos very tasty and...not too spicy. The taco loco was beef chorizo and pork taco it was quiet spicy but they were unreal. We also had the prawn tacos and they were very flavorful, there was a good kick off them.
The waiters were very helpful and they gave us a complementary dessert which was a churro dounut with a cinnamon glaze, absolutely devine . Overall would highly recommend going here.More
