I love Lasagne and they said they have housemade ones. It was so horrible. It was a tiny, soft and pile "thing". My gf spaghetti frutti di mare. The taste was nearly fine. But the sauce was very strange. After having a few bites of my lasagne, hoping it would get better, I found a hair in there. After the... More

Great place for real Italian food and great music (oldies but goodies) they make all the food from scratch with a flavor of Sardinia, with great music that's soothing.

We started with the Ceasar Salad which was swimming in bottled dressing, and we each had a pizza, which they should not call it a pizza it is a garnished piece of bread, no pizza dough there not even close. There was loud American music playing but the seller sitting just in front of the restaurant was trying to sing... More

Fresh fish with fresh vegetables gently fired in olive oil. Everything was fresh and good. I would go a bit further with the seasonings but who said that mex food has to be spicy?

Stopped here for dinner one night during our July 2015 stay. Honestly, I can't remember what else I had (I do remember the food was decent) except for the calamari, which is mostly what I am recommending in this review. As someone who is a lover and picky about their fried squid, it was fantastic, perfectly fried and battered, and... More

We have eaten there several times, as Isla is our "go to" place for a fun quick trip! Had mushroom stuffed home made ravioli and the bruschetta is amazing!! Also has very good music. A must stop when we are in Isla!!

Very good food. Both Italian and Mexican done well. The fish tacos were very good and we had some kind of zucchini pasta that was very good. Good house red! Very good service. Avenida Hidalgo is a pedestrian street running from the middle of town to the north beach. It is lined with lots of restaurants and many seem to... More

You really feel taken care of here, being served by the owner. The food is prepared and served with pride are care. The patio offers good people watching with less congestion than the center of town.

At Isla Mujeres, next to the main plaza this 100% italian restaurant is managed by this nice Sardinian lady, excellent cook and very friendly and very Italian. She offers some traditional Sardinia cook along with more continental Italian cuisine, all very nicely done. Price is right and the wine cellar is excellent. Go there at sunset time to enjoy the... We are three generations making happy to all our customers starting 70 years ago in Sardegna, Italy. For us is a real pleasure to receive people and make feel them in home using fresh and homemade products; from the pasta to the bread. We have a good selection of fishes and seafood. Also we offer mexican food, steak, natural juice, beer and a good selection of wines. We have live music.
