Rosas & Xocolate is one of those places that you need to go in Merida... Located in Paseo Montejo, this is a small jewel... Cristina the Operations Manager is a great host and helped us to have a unique experience in Merida. We stayed here, had breakfast and dinner and i cannot say anything but good things about this place.

Fantastic fresh seafood fare! I really enjoyed this meal as the seafood was off the scale but utilising local recipes. I had the groper & my companion had the shrimp. In addition our apperitifs were wonderfully done. I would recommend this restaurant to any of my fussy gourmand friends. A real treat while you are in Merida!

We stayed in the hotel for only one day, and it was just magical. We visited the restaurant for breakfast lunch and diner, and it has been the best restaurant we visited during our trip to mexico

Last night I ordered strawberry daiquiri. Service was fast but I found small pieces of plastic inside cocktail. My drink was full of plastic. They simply shredded plastic straw or straws with the ingredients in a blander. I was puzzled with attitude...oh well would you like a beer?. No, I don't want or drink beer. Only then they served me another... More

We were walking on avenida Montejo. We were hungry but had no idea where to eat. We were hoping to find something interesting. We walked by and liked how the restaurant looked. We saw a lot of people inside, so decided to check it ou. The food was amazing! We shared 3 dishes. I only recall the brisket and the... More

Spent only one night in this lovely hotel with a first-floor room close to the front desk. A marvelous experience in an absolutely amazing room, one of the best we've ever stayed in anywhere. Rave about a hotel bathroom? Sure, in this case we would. Comfort and convenience, luxurious but cozy at the same time. Lovely all around in a... More

Upon our visit to the gorgeous and peaceful city of Merida, we visited Rosa y Xocolate for dinner twice! It is situated right on Avenida Paseo de Montejo when we first stumbled across it. Our server went above and beyond to ensure that we had a fine dining experience. We opted to sit outdoors in the beautiful patio surrounded by... More

We visited Rosas & Xocolate, as we originally intended to stay at their hotel. (next time we will do). And it was the best restaurante we tried in our Merida Vacation. Each plate is memorable and full of Yucatan taste, but made in a new way and with international ingredients and cousines. The ceviche is great, as well as the... More

This is a beautiful restaurant with great courtyard space to eat in if its not unbearably hot. On the Wednesday night we dined here, they had a girl singer from Mexico City singing American jazz which we enjoyed very much. She began about 10pm. The food was very good. I had duck which was cooked well and was tasty but... More
