Had a great "late breakfast/early lunch" recently at El Postrecito. We were greeted warmly by the owner and his staff were very attentive. There was plenty of parking and the interior is very welcoming. Had a delicious Eggs Benedict. Look forward to returning again soon. Recommend for casual meals, solo, couples or large groups--you'll find a good value and a... More

This restaurant is almost hidden away on Calle 21, but is definitely worth looking for! The serve breakfast until 1:00 and then great looking sandwiches and desserts! We went for their breakfast and I had French toast with a side of scrambled eggs and bacon. Enough for two people, but I ate it all! My dining partner had the Eggs... More

It would be fair to say that my wife is *passionate* about Eggs Benedict, when they are done right! She was thinking about going to Los Benes (House), which has 16 variations of EB. But then we read many TA reviews that said Postrecita has a great EB too. And, since I am NOT a big fan of EB, my... More

My classmate and I, both being Washingtonians, were sick of Starbucks and wanted a cafe with ambiance to spend time in where we could relax, hang out, or do our homework. Postrecito was recommended by one of our teachers at Habla, a language school just a block away, and we fell in love with Postrecito. The owners are very kind... More

My classmates and I discovered Postrecito about two months ago as it is near our language school and we are so grateful we did. The people there have been nothing but welcoming, kind, and friendly to us. While the ambiance is a pretty poppy and fresh - decked out in pink and green - the fact that the owners are... More

Each time we go to Merida, we program a visit to this nice place. The staff is friendly and efficient and the food excellent. Try their eggs "Postrecito"! Planing in advance, they prepare a very special chocolate cake, which is to die for. But you must order it at least one day before, as it is not normally available.

I have had breakfast at this restaurant a few times. They used to have just desserts, but now they have quite an extensive menu for breakfast and lunch. All the food options I have tired are very good. It is a small place, but delicious. If you are looking for a small, cozy place for a breaky, I highly recommend... More

We went here this morning for breakfast. When we arrived at the restaurant the waiter suggested that we try their juices - my boyfriend had the passionfruit one and I had the guava one. At first I was a bit hesitant as I'm not a big fruit lover but I'm soooo glad I did! Both juices were delicious - really... More

Stopped in for a quick lunch on my way to a meeting, ended up really enjoying both my meal and my time. Being vegetarian it is sometimes difficult to get things altered, no problem. They suggested an egg benedict with mushrooms, FABULOUS! Came with a small side salad. Really tasty. Lovely presentation, tiniest hint of spiciness in the sauce which... More
