I had the most wonderful raclette and serano ham sandwich for lunch with an agua mineral with ice and lime. The baquette was nice and thin, lovely toasted with the cheese melted plus tomato, lettuce and cucumber. A beautiful lunch with wonderful service by the very handsome owner. What a lovely outdoor space they have and there is also some... More

We only ate breakfast here as we staying round the corner but we kept returning, because the food and service were lovely and it was shady and tranquil. Off street parking available, and internet. A really pleasant genuine family run french cafe.

Best baked goods in town, lovely back porch area! Only went for breakfast so can't speak to other meals but lots of quality and care appears to be put into the food.

This French bakery cafe is a find. The cappuccinos were full, served in lovely white cups. Croissants are fresh. Service is good. The patio out back is pleasant with trees, good space between the tables.

This quiet little cafe was a great place to relax during our day in Merida. We sat at a quiet outdoor table and enjoyed pleasant music and perhaps the best quiche we've ever had in a restaurant. Prices were very nice. We will return.

At first I loved this place - like a new romance, I was infatuated with no questions asked! I just love the space, the simple decor that still gives a very nice ambiance, the background music, and the attentive lady who works there (probably one of the owners). I once had a quiche which was fresh out of the oven... More

Hello and thanks for your review. Concerning coffee you are right, we are called café crème and will improve by serving the americano with cream/milk on side - anyway we do it when customers ask us - but it will be an extra for us. Thanks again. Referring to the bakery it is true we don't make it because it... More

You just can't beat a brunch of cappucino, fresh squeezed orange juice, and eggs or omelet. To top it off was a loaf of fresh baked bread. The restaurant which is small but efficient was very busy, but the service was excellent. We will be back as we are staying in the neighborhood.

We had breakfast at this restaurant which was run by the French couple. One of us ordered a fresh squeeze orange juice. In less than an hour, my friend got diarrhea for two days.

We are sorry that your friend got sick. At Café Crème we clean carefully all fruits and vegetables we prepare. The orange is squeezed right in the moment to be served. Saludos, More

Everyone raves about this restaurant and we enjoyed it twice for breakfast. Pastries were good. Eggs just o.k. - dry and a bit flavorless but o.k. Coffee was not good. We went hoping for a really good cup of espresso, latte or coffee and all was bitter and the milk overcooked. Lovely spot nonetheless but a bit sloppy.

We thank you for your review and we will take it into consideration in order to improve all the necessary things. As far as coffee is concerned we have eleven different kinds. Perhaps if you should've told us how do you like your coffee we could have served you the one you were expecting for. Saludos, More

It is owned by a french man who wanted to set a "european" style cafe. He has excellent selection of imported cheese as well as french wine . They make their own quiche and a "Menu of the day" as well as home made deserts. It is a cosy cafe close to the Paseo Montejo and Archeological Museum. It is a good option for vegetarians as well, as they have great salads and many will enjoy a break from the delicious, but heavy, yucatecan cuisine.
