My family and I had lunch here today and it was great. Lots of variety and very inexpensive - most tacos were 12 peso's. Well worth a quick taxi ride.

Wayan'e is awesome!!! It has indoor and outdoor seating. It is very affordable for the price. The selection of food to choose from is amazing!!! There are many authentic flavored foods here. It is really enjoyable on a Saturday morning. It is a great place...More
We had breakfast at Wayan's and it was packed with flavour, we picked a few tacos of our choice, then left the rest up to the man running the show behind the counter, and needless to say they were all excellent. We have eaten at...More
I saw this restaurant on "Mexico, One Plate At A Time" and wanted to make sure I tried it during my stay in Merida. It was very different from other restaurants that I've eaten in the Yucatan, which was what I was looking for. My...More
Most everybody loves Wayan'e and most everybody is right. Had lunch here yesterday. Castacan with cheese, pollo hulk and pok chuc. Terrific food, friendly service, cold Cokes. Breakfast or lunch here, dinner at Apoala, that's a good day of eating. Only wish we'd had time...More

The servers went out of their way to explain the menu to us by bringing us right up to the area where the food was being prepared. Lots of fun pointing and selecting our taco fillings.
