Wish I had ordered the Chicken in a Red Wine Sauce..My husband did. & I tasted it..very good..tender, tasty & juicy..This item was ordered by 2 others at our table..All very much enjoyed their choice.. I had the Goat Cheese Quiche...While it was tasty..the eggs were more like scrambled & the crust quite tough. The small pieces of ham..little hard... More

Went for breakfast during the week and it was lovely and quiet with only us and another gentleman so service was good. The waitress did bring a basket with a plain croissant and a chocolate one which were both delicious though they weren't free. I had the omeleto completo and it was perfect. We sat outside and they had nice... More

Fantastic, cute place to enjoy a delicious breakfast. The croissants both plain and chocolate filled were divine! Best I've had outside France. ( another reviewer had said the same and it is true). Lovely relaxing atmosphere. Not much to look at from outside but a must for a yummy breakfast. The coffee was very good as was the toasted sandwich... More

Hemingway would have hung out here. This oozes with all the juices of "Expat-dom." This place is great. You feel so comfortable here. You feel so relaxed. The vegetable lasagna was good bordering on great. The salad was edible. The lemonade is amazing! The chocolate pastel was amazing! The cappuccino was horrible. I'll never have cappuccino there again : (

I had lunch with my family here yesterday and it was delicious and a beautiful setting! Quiche, chicken salad, tarta d'alsacienne, & exquisite chocolate cake & cafe americano. I highly recommend this place. Gracias. Merci!

This is a great place for breakfast. We had an omelette, fruit plate and a basket of croissants. We love their croissants.

I have been to France twice and I am from NYC. It is difficult to find decent French cuisine. It is very hard to find a decent croissant, but this was probably the best freshly made croissant I ever had. The menu varies depending on what is available at the farmers market. My salad must have had the best ingredients... More

The bistro looks like nothing special from the outside, but once inside, the art and architecture take over--something interesting to see everywhere you look. The coffee and pan de chocolate I had were excellent and cheap--less than 50 pesos for both. I will be back, perhaps to try the lunch special.

Fantastic cafe and courtyard! We went twice while in Merida and had the croissant with jamon Serrano y queso and the croque vegetarian. Absolutely delicious! The chocolate croissants are to die for! Make sure you share a chocolate frappe - they are huge but delicious and a better choice then the coffee.

I eat here about once a week and EVERY time the quality is the same. This is the mark of a GREAT restaurant - one that can maintain the same quality day in and day out. I almost always eat the same thing (vegetarian), however, my friends enjoy the chicken and pork dishes. The half-baked cake - it just does... More
