A very busy place. This restaurant, while longstanding in the community captures the young and the old. A place to be seen but the food didn't impress me. We had just appetizers and drinks. The pizza was not nearly cooked and very wet that fell apart. The salbutes were very dry. They served 1 house wine that was a tempernillo….or... More

We sat in front of the stage enjoying the singer playing the guitar while we had supper. The setting was pleasant in the open courtyard. The menu is varied with plenty of vegetarian and non vegetarian options. The service was fine as was our meals.

This restaurant is situated in an outdoor courtyard surrounded by plants. We enjoyed regional specialties and good sized portions. They offered us English menus and the service was prompt. It was a nice atmosphere for visiting over dinner.

Good vegetarian food. (also options for meet-eaters) The night we went, there was a very talented guitarist/singer playing during our meal.

They have a beautiful tree that covers the courtyard, different type of art exhibits, and nice music. Good place to go if you are a vegeterian, but they also have international food.

We stopped in here for lunch hoping for some lighter fare than the meat- and starch-heavy (though delicious) traditional Yucateca food. Amaro did not disappoint. We had a lovely gazpacho, and then I had some very fresh fish with grapefruit and asparagus, and my husband enjoyed a veggie-filled pasta. They know how to cook vegetables so that they are crisp... A large group of us ate here and everyone enjoyed the evening. Good service. Lovely appointments. And a very interesting solo singer/guitar player doing ballads or some kind of pleasant, carefully worded (in what I assume was Spanish) numbers that were loud enough to be enjoyed, but still allowed pleasant conversation at our table. Kind of Charles Aznavour voice and... More

We were able to sit among the trees and garden listening to music. The Meal was great with in house recipes and traditional food choices, even some actual vegetarian dishes. The service was prompt and care to watch for when we needed somethi g. We chose to go several times to invite friends as an example of what Merida has... More

The location and atmosphere are great. The open court yard and old school Merida charm will keep us coming back. The menu is not only Veggie and has a great selection of options for us meat eaters too. Our service here was the best we experienced over the four day stay in Merida. The food portion was also the largest.... More
