After a long flight to Playa Del Carmen we spend little time seeking out a restaurant. This place was one of the first we ran in to and with great lookout over the busy 5th street looked cozy enough. And it actually didn't disappoint at all. We had some cocktails and ceviche as starters and a fried fish platter for... More

Great location, food, staff and value in a beautiful open-air restaurant. If you sit near the street you can watch tourists pass by as you lazily munch on handmade guacamole and sip beer. What else could one ask for?

Looked at many menus and chose this place based on their menu. We were seated right away at a nice table overlooking 5th ave. That's the end of the positives. Our waiter came for our drink order then vanished. We had to ask him to bring chips, napkins, tortillas for the tacos, side orders, salsa, etc. We were searching for... More

We got salmon and the garlic shrimp dishes. Salmon was good but the rice and veggies were bland. The shrimp were overly salty. The problem arose when the waiter charged an excessive tip when there were only 2 of us which is very atypical for any restaurant that I've been to in Mexico or elsewhere and I have traveled a... Ate here on upper level. Food was OK. Large menu. Good place to watch 5th Avenue people traffic. Lots of bats flying around fruit tree. Good service.

This restaurant offered good food with a view overlooking the always-busy Quinta Avenida. There is a very good variety of dishes offered with some unique combinations of beef, chicken and shrimp. A number of flambe dishes were also offered. Those who chose some of the more traditional Mexican dishes were very happy, while the beef tenderloin was not particularly outstanding.... More

If you are looking for a happy hour deal, they offer 2 for 1 cocktails that are good. However, food is not good at all!!! We had burritos and tacos of flank steak. They were terrible! Too much fat, way too much fat. We could not finish our dishes. We should have noticed something was wrong, The restaurant was almost... More
