We were looking for a fresh fish market and this cafe acts as BOTH a place to eat and a place to purchase fish to cook yourself. We came away with lovely Grouper fillets for a very reasonable price. We also see that they sell Ceviche and we gather their fish tacos are superb. Fresh fish is always the key... More

Just happened to be walking down 5th avenue and looked down a street and saw how crowded the place looked. It is off of fifth. Went over and took a look and tried it out. I liked it so much we ate there almost every day.

This may be one of the BEST restaurants in Playa del Carmen. I would rate it #1 or #2 (Las Hijas De La Tostada is equally as good). The food here is OUTSTANDING ! The Ceviche's are excellent and the Shrimp and Fish are tremendous. My only reservation is that I ate here last night and the waiter tried to... More

What a great experience and delicious seafood. This place was full of locals the Sunday we stopped in for lunch and that is how I knew it was going to be good! Tables are packed together to maximize their space but that is really the only negative thing I can say because the seafood is great and the value is... More

We have a condo Playacar. So, every times we go to Mexico we have a meal there. Great fish, great ceviche! After 2:00pm , it's pack with locals! Arrive earlier... Bon appétit!

Excellent fresh seafood and authentic Mexican cuisine. It's exactly what you would expect from an established Playa restaurant.

Very disappointing! We had a platter of fish and seafood recommended by the waiter which was so overcooked it was like rubber. There were 5 of us and we all felt that what we were served was end of the night left overs. We will not be back !

We came here in January had a great octopus ceviche. Very generous portion might I add. We also wanted to get the fresh fish, however they only had big ones or an enormous one. At the end, we decided not to get it as we were only 2. If you do go it's worth it if you are a group... More

Beware, travelers. We are not naive American, having been around, but this place is a scam. Menu suggests $70p margaritas, bill comes at $100p and too bad for you. Then they tell you, sorry no internet for credit cards, cash only. After long drama at foreign ATMs, they finally take your MasterCard. Total scam there. Aside from shady business practices,...
