Prices are relatively high, food is varied. Large portions, fast and professional service. Music and musicians in place. The atmosphere is relaxed and European.

I ate here with my fiancée to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. First impressions this place seems amazing. The ambiance is nice and the waiters seem friendly. We had a table for 2 beside a water feature which was lovely. There's a sax player that comes up to your table and plays you a song etc. As every other review... More

After a traumatic visit to coco bongos, we found Mandarinas cafe. It was a breath of fresh air. Classy, elegant and fabulous service. The drinks were amazing! We are used to paying central London prices for drinks, so the cost did not put us off. The relaxed nature of the bar was just what we needed. The cheesecake was also... More

While this place is stunningly lovely in appearance and ambience, the menu is ridiculously overpriced. Individual thin crust pizzs were $25 each. Appetizer of pruscuitto and melon was $25. Drinks also very expensive. Our fault for not walking away after we looked at the menu at the greeting desk. But we were seduced by the curb appeal with piano and sax... More

From the coffee to the juice, terrible. As an example, the juice was tang with juice mixed in. Very nice servers--the only positive.

While visiting Playa we were strolling down 5av and noticed Mandarina's. We decided to give it a try. Should have known something since this place only had a few tables filled. It was one of those meals that I couldn't wait to be over. The service was poor, the food bland and very overpriced. During our stay in Playa we... More

Eating here was literally like a horrible wedding.... it was worse than the pasta station at a cocktail hour. When my fathers food came, my mom said "that looks awful." It was. Gelatinous would have been good compared to the pasta my aunt received. It was like bland cream, penne and bacon bits. She dipped spongey bread in my dad's... More

Very very poor, looks great from the outside should of realised why is wasn't busy compared to other restaurants. My partner had the butternut squash pasta dish which was inedible, way too much cheese, tasteless and runny. Whilst I had the duck which was dry and tough. I ordered some sparkling water which came as 2 ridiculous small sized bottles... More

We went to this restaurant because we were looking for our favorite restaurant from last visit and when found our restaurant no table for us, so we walked on 5th avenue street and bumped into this mandarin's cafe. We were a group of 5 adults and 3 kids. Food was mediocre. Service was with no smile or anything. Manager also... More

Where do i start. i often walked past and wondered why a place with such an ambience was always empty. I should have known better but my god daughter wanted to eat there. Drinks terrible, banana smoothy with green bananas. Lemonade with sugar when ordered without , new lemonade was a strange tasting cordial.... No olive oil or pepper offered... More
