We had stopped somewhere and asked a cab driver what he recommended and he said this in addition to the Barracuda. Greeted by extremely pleasant staff, who insisted on standing within ten feet of us in case we needed anything, which was nice. They gave us successful recommendations, one of which was mine, the fish filet (do not confuse with... More

We had 2 lunches and 1 breakfast at Casa Cenote. The Margaritas are the best we had on the entire ten day trip! The food is good and we are very sorry we missed the Sunday evening BBQ as it definetly looked like it would have been fun! Gary, the owner, is very personable and made time to sit with... More

My wife and I stayed at the Casitas at Casa Cenote. The room was great with plenty of cool air. Step off your patio, onto the beach and into the water in about 30 steps, fantastic. The food at the restaurant was great. To be able to sit and relax with good food is amazing. The restaurant is very close... More

We went twice on our last trip. Once after a HOT excursion to Chichen Itza and another for lunch after a few hours at the beach. Both times we just needed a cold drink, something to snack on and a cool breeze with a great view. Love the chips/salsa and Nachos. Kids loved the chili cheese fries. We all loved... More

Great view, friendly service, cold beer. Salsa excellent, guacamole good. Otherwise just OK. Was nice to sit in the shade while the family enjoyed the cenote. Watched boats coming in from spearing invasive lion fish. Poisonous spines but supposed to be OK for ceviche.

Great little Cenote to see if you'll like swimming in the larger ones. We will definitely be back to the same area next year and swim in the larger Cenotes / Caves.

Beautiful beach setting at the mouth of a cenote. Typical Mexican menu offering. Delicious guacamole and margaritas. We had fish tacos that were good, but not extraordinary. Servers were very friendly and helpful.

Gary is to Ribs (pork) and Brisket (beef) here in the Riviera Maya, like the Smokey Mo's is in Austin! He has a great menu all week long, but only on Sunday do you get the BBQ. The Margaritas very potent and some beers and wines as well. There are desserts, but I've always been too full. There is a... More

Cads Cenote is a little off the beaten path but worth searching out. It's an open air palapa style restaurant right on the beach- can't beat a great meal and cold cerveza looking out over the turquoise sea. The menu is a little disappointing and obviously caters to what they think us Norte americanos want to eat, but we had... More
