This place knows there seafood! Nice fusion of italian (homemade pasta) and seafood. Bartender drinks were exceptional, even the mineral water lemonade (available sweet and unsweetened) was refreshing and you wanted more!
To echo others, this place is so charming. Corrado is so energetic and welcoming. All of the pasta is handmade and they only use fresh fish - we wanted the lobster ravioli but they didn’t have this available today, we were happy to order other...pastas that were noticeably fresh. Bruschetta is also great. You’ll leave so satisfied and so happy to support a small business like this.More
I highly recommend this spot if you're in Tulum. I had the Lobster Ravioli and Bruschetta - both were amazing!
This restaurant is off of the main area of central Tulum but is a wonderful experience. The manager has excellent service, and the food is...delicious.
I am a solo traveler and went for an early dinner, it was a nice atmosphere but very quiet since it's not in the busy part of town. Would be a perfect spot for a group or couple.More

Thank you very much for staying with us! See you soon
Everything about La Fonda Tulum was lovely. This place is tucked at the far end of the avenue with low foot traffic as compared to a lot of other places on the main strip where they only cater to the gringo tourists. The decor and...ambiance of LFT was excellent - casual yet intimate. Corrado is a friendly and considerate host who even offered me mosquito repellent. He is Italian by birth (but probably Mexican at heart) and made one of the best negronis we have ever had. We started with some bruschetta. The lobster tagliatelle was divine, full of real lobster and my wife had the fried red snapper. Everything was fresh and delicious. We finished with the limon semi-freddo, which was probably the only underachievement of the night. This a great hidden gem that I hope will find much success but hopefully not lose any of its friendly charm.More
